In McKinney, Texas. A northern suburb of Dallas.

Bought my house 5 years ago in 2021. Rarely would see a woman in a hijab let alone a full burka. Now it is a common sight to see hijabs everywhere and women in full burkas obediently following their husbands through the aisles of HEB. It's shocking how fast it has changed into a real life handmaids tale that I never thought I would see here when buying my house.

More of an Indian thing than Islam, but the show Frisco King doesn’t film in Frisco. The reason? “No one will believe this is Texas.’
