Got this bad boy for my birthday. Yes that’s right a Columbo board game!! Thinking of framing it, would look awesome on the wall. Anyone ever played it???

We all love a good t shirt with everyone's favourite detective on. But unfortunately over the past few weeks I've started noticing a lot of different links to various sites where you can buy a tee in a cool design, and while they all look cool, there's a high chance that a lot of them are scams. We're trying our hardest to limit the number of posts but as this sub's size increases, so does the number of scam and spam links. Don't click any of them as they'll likely be trying to steal your data or all kinds of nasty stuff. If you want to buy a t shirt, just give it a quick Google and I'm sure you'll find a design you would like.
Message over, and merry Christmas you filthy animals.

u/TJCluedo for their story "Columbo: A Killers Tale" - a faithful Columbo tale that was extremely enjoyable to read.
Here's the link to read it:https://pastebin.com/aGvCe6Hn
If anyone would like to continue writing a story without going for a competition win, then there's a new subreddit called r/ColumboShortStories, where you can post all year round.
Congratulations again to TJCluedo for your victory! A well deserved win for a great story.

My lil tribute to one of my all time favourite TV personalities and childhood heroes 🥰 Peter Falk as Lieutenant Columbo. ❤️
I painted this imagining what it would be like to sit down and have dinner with him. Ohhhh the questions I'd have! Both for the brilliant Lieutenant Columbo and for the man who brought him to life, Peter Falk.
I've adored this character since I was a little girl, and that admiration has only grown over the years. There's just something so special about him.
If only I could have had that dinner... although I have a feeling I'd never want the conversation to end 😅

Hey everyone!
I've been rewatching Columbo for the millionth time (something about fall puts me in a Columbo mood for whatever reason) and obviously couldn't resist doodling the most doodleable man of all time. My love for this small crumpled detective knows no bounds. Hope you enjoy!
P.S. Can you tell my bias towards him having the biggest hair imaginable?

I know that the die hards ( of which I am a card carrying member!) debate what Lt Columbo’s first name is. I’m watching episode 5 “Dead Weight” with Eddie Albert. When Columbo comes to the door of the General to say he is investigating a reported murder he shows his badge and ID. It’s pretty big shot of the ID. I took a picture and enlarged it on and it looks like his first name is Frank.
I think Columbo would be proud of me for my deductive reasoning.

6.8 on IMDB seems too high compared with Last Salute To The Commodore which currently scores the lowest of the entire show with a 6.2. MWTMN suffers from all the same issues. It's nonsensical, flat out weird and has a truly crap ending. It's almost like a spiritual successor to the Commodore episode.
It even has the same director, the wonderful Patrick McGoohan, who in spite of directing and starring in some of the shows best, is responsible for two of the shows worst too. I just wonder why MWTMN turned out this way. The show seemed to he finding its feet again towards the end of its run, and this one just disrupts the flow of fantastic episodes.

Only of the original episodes. Not the 80’s shows!
I will compile the overall top and bottom next weekend!

There are villains like the Riddler, Ra's, and—above all—Bane who have managed to deduce Batman's identity. But could Columbo do it?

Got thinking the other day, although have always thought of this on and off. How Columbo is such a great show its become a comfort blanket.
Yes, it will be the memories of watching it as well that help. Being lucky and growing up in a safe household in the 80s and one day discovering Columbo at a weekend (I'd only ever see it on at a weekend in the UK). Columbo became a safe place. I hated school and more so high school so ended up finding comfort in certain shows.
Being in the safety of a warm home and then getting to watch Columbo. Its never worn off.
I thought of this again as was driving to one of our sites at work. Not far, about 30mins drive. Had been listening to an ebook but wanted something more comforting. Being in the car on your own already is a comfort. So with all my Columbo episodes already on my phone I start one up in VLC, put it into audio mode and headed out.
Its just nice.
Other comfort shows from growing up would be
Star Trek TNG and Voyager (enjoyed Deep Space Nine but doesn't get included in the comfort range). Voyager had started a couple of years after school and was now in college. But both get the comfort status because......the ships have carpets :o) just makes them feel so homely.
And Star Trek TNG started on BBC 2 (with no adverts) during high school years. So the Star Trek day would always been a great day as although school may have been crap that day, knowing would get to watch Columbo later helped.
