AND THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THAT IT CANNOT JUST USE BROWSER OR THE COMPUTER PLUGINS AT ALL NO MATTER WHAT I DO, IT JUST SAYS CANNOT USE THIS SESSION/INACCESESSIBLE/DENIED ETC. I CANNOT USE ASTRA AS IT EATS UP MY USAGE LIKE BREAKFAST.

Since yesterday (right after Astra came out), I’ve started seeing this message when I ask the model (5.6 Thinking Medium) to produce deliverables in chat, HTML, Word or PDF, and also when I ask it to read and summarize my emails (mostly AI and robotics from the previous day).

To be clear, I haven’t used Astra, I don’t code, I don’t do agent workflows, I know nothing about CS, math, biology etc. (so I never talk about that), and I’ve never used Codex or Work.

Is anyone else getting this weird banner?

My "personalization" options seem to reset every hour or so. I set warmth, enthusiasm, and emojis to the lowest setting, and they reset every hour or every new chat.

Things I've tried: 1. Ensuring they are the same across desktop, web, and mobile app 2. Deleting all chats including in the archive 3. Resetting memory completely (fresh start)

No matter what I do, the warmth, enthusiasm, and emoji settings constantly reset to the highest setting. This results in an absolutely unbearable chat personality.

How do you get these toggles to stay put?

I would appreciate whatever help I can get So, I'm trying to delete some images, uploaded files and generations from my library because I didn't even know I could and I did my first batch about 7 hours ago, and now it won't let me delete anymore, they disappear after I click delete but then it will say failed to delete and then they'll come back, When I did the first batch, I then went into Trash and permantley deleted them, now its empty and I can't delete any more now

I am trying to create some 2D images, and mind you I used to do this a lot on the the first iteration of image gen. They never used to come out like this, grainy and somewhat pixalated. Is anyone else dealing with this issue? Is there a fix?

Hello! While I use chatgpt on operaGx and I have chatgpt on Dark mode no highlight shows when copying text .This only happens on dark mode, and I don t wanna switch to light mode just for this. Any suggestions on how to fix it? (I don t have force dark mode on)

I've seen people say that when you press the 3 dots when using ChatGPT Web an option appears to branch into new chat. but this doesn't appear for me? all I see is read aloud and nothing else and sometimes it doesn't even show read aloud it just says the date and time I recieved the response. what's going on?

Been having an issue with ChatGPT (5.5 Instant, Thinking and older models) only following image generation-related custom instructions after I regenerate the response. It started around the time Images 2 released and during the A/B tests just before that so I'm reasonably sure it's related.

I have a couple specific instructions which are basically "after generating, provide alt text + a brief generation success review in the same turn." It's able to follow this fine but only after I regenerate the response that contains the tool call, otherwise it just calls the tool and ghosts after. Putting those instructions in the actual chat doesn't help either.

Is this something anyone's managed to fix with custom instructions/prompting or is it because of the model rerouting?

(And has anyone found a workaround that doesn't involve manually regenerating every time and wasting image gens? 💀)

Are they able to be disabled in the settings or are they integrated into the interface ?

I'm using ChatGPT Plus. And I've been using it a lot. But today it's not responding to anything and keeps giving error messages like "Hmm... something seems to have gone wrong" and "Error in message stream". I tried cleaning cache and logging in and out, deleting some old convos, but nothing helped. How can I fix it?

This Voice Mode from ChatGPT is actually mind blowing and i love it, but i find it really hard to make it understand what you want, at least with me it messes up a bit.

What i want seems quite simple, i'm a very beginner in french and want to discover new words, sentences, check how natives would say such thing or whatever. I figure a very optimal way to do it would be from a dialog, using this Voice Mode.

So i tried a hundred different ways to make it follow this type dialog pattern:

I say something in english
It translate to French so i can know how would be in french
It reply what i said in french
And give the translation to english

This way i won't be limited from my lack of vocabulary and will also be able to build a normal dialog, and with the Voice Mode i would be able to always replay the french lines to hear and try to repeat.

My problem is, it ALWAYS mess it up and keep repeating what i just said, which doesn't happen if i use the normal text chat.

eg:
[Me] Hello! How are you?
[AI] Bonjour! Comment ça va?
[AI] Translation: Hello! How are you?

Instead of answering, it repeats what i say but in French then translate back to English.

How it should be:
[Me] Hello! How are you?
[AI] Translation: Bonjour! Comment ça va?

[AI] Salut! Ça va bien! Et toi?
[AI] Translation: Hi! I'm doing well! And you?

Again, i'm not an expert but i don't understand how such a simple concept refuses to work.
Can anybody help me get it right?

I cant switch accounts, gpt wont reply to any of my messages, and the library has been cleared, theres nothing in search chats. I think all my progress is gone? how can I fix this? What has happened here?

What once was a super cool AI that could basically write anything is now just so limited it's comical. You can't outstep the boundaries, which are incredibly restrictive. For example., I just asked it to write a fictional war drama story and it kept on denying it because "it promotes violence and disrespect".

Is there any way to bypass this? Because I can barely accomplish anything without it saying that it's "unable to as a responsible AI". It's so tiring, hope somebody makes another chatbot that's better than what it is right now.

I’m running into a problem and could use some help. Chat GPT suddenly stopped accepting my file uploads. The exact same Power Point presentations worked just fine a few hours ago, but now whenever I try to upload them I get the error: “An unknown error occurred.”

I even tried converting the files to PDF, but I get the same error there too. For context, i have the ChatGPT Plus plan. Could this be some kind of quota/limit I’ve unknowingly hit? Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any idea why files that worked earlier would suddenly stop working?

I will ask chatgpt to write a story or a short scenario just for entertainment but it always cuts off right in the middle and its genuinely annoying me. Ive reported it but they said oh yea nah its fine. Then i ask it again itll do the same thing. My connection is fine but ive only noticed this with gpt5. Not sure of what to do
