Vehicle ID needed What kind of car is this?
I saw this very fancy, expensive looking car going south on highway 101 on Sunday. It sounded pretty cool as well. Just curious what it was.

We've been banning around five people a week for advertising their AI vibe coded apps that put a OBD2 code in and spits out generic or dangerously misleading results. Many claim to be free or claim they just want help testing them. Many are based out of countries you probably don't want your personal information getting sent to, like VIN numbers, etc. REPORT THESE POSTS FOR BREAKING SUBREDDIT RULES and the report them again as SPAM so Reddit Admins are notified.

What are some features of certain car brands that make you scratch your head and go "WTF?"
First example, most GM cars and trucks since the 2010's, when it's dark out and the vehicle is unlocked illuminate all the lights, including the reverse lights. I've driven through parking lots and when this occurs, you think the driver is in the vehicle and about to reverse out of their parking spot when in actual fact, they've just unlocked their vehicle. Why GM? I can't think of any other brand that does this. We have a 2010 Camaro that does this and have seen many drivers stop thinking that the car is about to back up and they just stop waiting for the parking spot.
Second example, I just retired and I had a 2019 Toyota Corolla for a company car that when you go to spray and clean the windshield, the wipers will cycle 4 times and then stop. For about 20 seconds and then do one more swipe of the wipers that smears the windshield again. Why do you need to do one more swipe of the wipers, the first four cleared it just fine. The extra one just made it worse again. I couldn't find a way to stop it either.
Does anyone else have examples of "WTF were you thinking with that design feature"?

I saw it at a car show. I was too anxious to ask the owner about it.
It looks really cool, but is this standard issue or does it have some sort of kit?
I'm not a car guy, do people say kit?

On the spark plugs box it says 28 nm. In the car manual it says 30 nm. Which is best to follow?

Clips broke right under the front passanger side door. I assumed it’d be fine and kept it like that, but is it getting warped? And how did this even happen? It’s not like I got T-Boned or anything.

Noise would go away once I get some RPMs and go up to 10mph, now after 2 days the noise is constant. I flipped open the hood and filmed this video, literally stopped filming once I started to get hit by metal chips.
I towed the car to a repair shop and they said it's the Alternator that is noisy and the AC compressor is noisy (AC doesn't work anyway), but I feel like the worst issue is the belt tensioner...
Is this something that can be repaired at home? Thanks for any advice!

Early this morning my stupid self wasn’t careful enough to see my surroundings and accidentally scratch my Volkswagen Rocker panel on a metal pole and it scrapped off the paint and left a dent. at the moment I don’t have enough money to get the dent fixed and I’ll worry about it when I can. but I also don’t want to leave the scratch like that as it is a little bothersome and noticeable to look at, I’ve looked around online to see a viable solution and spray paint to see what’s available. but everything I see is either gloss white, or dupli-color for other cars except for VW’s and gloss also. And I’m not sure if it will match with the original color of the car, I’d appreciate the help if anyone has any suggestions! Thanks!

Neighbor had a bike stolen. Asked if I could identify the vehicle acting suspiciously around the time.

As the title says, I was going to use my car today and it turned on, but the instrument cluster didn't. No tachometer, gas gauge, speedometer, computer. All dead.
I checked the fuse box inside the cabin and everything looked good. Has anyone run into this issue? TIA
Should also mention the blinkers work but the beeping sound inside is gone. Also the doors don't lock automatically when I put it in drive anymore.

Bought this car with the sub and I think it's the way that they wired it, but I'm so confused on how this even happens.

2019 Cruze LT - 1.4-liter turbocharged DOHC 4-cylinder gas engine (LE2).
Does anyone know what this shake/vibration could be? I posted videos on imgur link.
For full transparency I did change my spark plugs last week and torqued them down to spec. No check engine light or codes. Power seems normal. Unfortunately I don't know if it was shaking like this before changing the plugs, but does anyone have an idea?

Context. I live in Connecticut and the car has a New York washed title.
My cousin has a 06 civic that was in an accident in 2022 and declared a total loss. They kept the car and fixed it and drove it. Car has passed multiple my state inspections and has always been registered. He has never gotten a new title or heard anything else after he was paid out. I was thinking of buying the car knowing the history and just keeping it as a beater car. Will I have problems registering it if i try and registering it here in CT even though the title shows up as clean on carfax?

I never really cared about car mats until I started noticing how much dirt gets inside the car. Do good mats actually make cleaning easier or is it mostly about looks?

Looking to build some wheel cribs for my garage for use when i work on my C6 Corvette. Ive seen many “how to” videos on the subject but nobody ever mentions the species of wood being used. Im looking for a dense wood that can be found at say a Home Depot or Lowes and can be readily available.

2012 Toyota Venza, panoramic moonroof.
Symptoms:
Video with sound attached.
Questions:
Dealer wants $1,000+ CAD just to diagnose, and I’m selling the car soon, so I’m trying to decide between a cheap fix and selling as-is. Any insight appreciated, thanks!

hi i’m a new driver and this is my first car and i’m just so confused.
i have a 2015 ford fusion and it’s been working fine for years, i noticed recently in the last two days (it’s only happened twice) that sometimes on turns at a slower speed (turning into a parking lot or out of a drive thru) that the car randomly cuts out, like all the lights turn off, the brakes still work, steering is fine, and no lights turn on the dash, then it turns back on within 5 seconds and runs normally. i don’t have to restart it or take the key out or anything, it just goes back to normal.
I had my dad check my battery and that’s all good, my tanks been over half both times it has happened, and plenty of things in the car are new or close to new. Brand new alternator, batteries less than a year old, tires, brakes, all new. i don’t know what it could be but it’s scaring me.
only happens at slow speeds hasn’t happened on the highway at all. i don’t know what it could be and im just looking for any insight maybe if this has happened to anyone else?
