Probably one of Padge’s most underrated solos in the entire BFMV catalogue. I’m not sure if it’s just me but does the tapping section remind them of something from a Power Rangers theme? lol. Either way, this song and solo kicks a lot of ass. Easily my favorite track from Fever.

I was always aware of BFMV (mostly from NFS: Most Wanted and Burnout: Revenge) and once I saw Social Apocalypse pop up on my Spotify I decided to check out what I was missing, as someone with almost no nostalgic attachment to their discography I figured my thoughts would be at least interesting for you all to see.

Hello everyone

I’m going to my first ever concert and it’s gonna be bfmv, i’m really excited and happy. I’m going with my brother who’s absolutely not in to metal whatsoever however me and his friend managed to convince him.

Is there anything one should expect when going to these types of concerts? How early should we be? I’ve never been to any in general, as the title suggests, however i’m expecting that a lot of middle aged men are gonna be there lol

I remember watching bfmv music videos on YouTube in high school and one of the comments was a small up and coming band advertising their band. All I remember is they said something along the lines of "hey if you like bullet check out our band" and the vocalist did sound like The Poison era Matt. Please does anybody know the band? I tried using chat gpt to find it but no luck. All I remember was their video was a still image of the band name with music playing.

I love the thrash elements of saf, and the songs are more technically interesting. Venom might be hot take, but I have a huge connection to that album, and love it all the way through. Temper being higher than self titled is due to just being more interesting compositionally. Self titled was forcibly heavy with most songs feeling like it's just 1 riff played slightly differently throughout the song length. Temper also has massively better solos on it vs self titled. Saints and sinners being a top 5 Padge solo for me. Gravity is fine, catchy, but wears out fast due to being quiet repetitive.

All in all I'm a mega fan and love all their songs regardless, but this is just how I'd rank it all. I'm a little worried about the new album. I feel like they have a 7 string, but will just use 4/4 notes on the big A without ever touching the higher strings.

My personal favorites are 4 words to choke upon and hand of blood.

In regards to Social Apocalypse, I thoroughly enjoyed the single. It had a unique blend of Gravity and Venom, and I anticipate that I’ll enjoy it even more than the self-titled album.

I honestly can't stop listening to venom because the whole album is such a banger! Every song on it is amazing, the riffs, the solos, the concept to each song, it's all so cohesive and it has that signature bullet for my Valentine sound. Man I really wish bullet would do something like this again, something similar but different and unique! Venom is by far one of their best records. I didn't think so when it first came out, but after years of listening to it, It's become one of my top bullet for my Valentine albums. Who else really enjoys venom as a whole?

I’ll start, Tears Don’t Fall is overrated. Not a bad song by any means but it’s far down the pecking order for me. I’d say there are 5 or 6 on The Poison alone that are better than it.

Guys! I need your help. I saw the tour dates for 2027. I come from an Asian country and this is my only way to see Bullet live. A friend of mine stays in Vienna, and I was hoping I could visit him and attend the show. Now comes the bitter part. Upon enquiring, I have heard the Visa procedure can take a bit while and I just checked the show tickets, they're about the get sold out entirely. The currency conversion is huge for us, if I buy the tickets now and if I don't end up with a Visa, it's gonna be a catastrophe for my pockets. I am super anxious and planning to skip this altogether. Any hope? Any suggestions on how I can still execute this plan? Please help fellow bulleteers

Was just going through my Google drive and found this picture dated June 2005. From what I remember, they were supporting Funeral for a Friend (who my GF at the time was hugely into) and I checked out the BFMV EP and realized these guys were HEAVY! Don't remember much about the show itself, but there's the pic.

Anyone else catch them on these early tours??

So, I haven't been listening to Bullet for a crazy long time but I have been a diehard fan for about 4 years now. I've listened to all of their albums countless times, including Fever.

Today, I just realised that the woman on the album cover has a crab claw for a hand. Even before I became a fan of this band, I was aware of them for years and had obviously seen the Fever artwork on the internet, here and there. I'd argue it's a pretty iconic artwork, especially in the space of 2010s modern metal and metalcore. And I feel like an absolute lobotomite for never realising she has a crab claw, not a, well, human hand.

Is this a self-report for how my attention on this album cover was focused on the other areas of it? Maybe. In my defence, I don't collect vinyls or physical media, so I only see these artworks on streaming services on my relatively small screen, so I don't always notice the finer details... but I'm in disbelief that I never noticed this!

Be honest, are any of you learning about it for the first time, now that I'm mentioning it?

PS: Social Apocalypse is a bit of a letdown :(

This is under the “Don’t Need You” music video. Right now, the song is getting a lot of praise, and some people (myself included) are even saying it’s one of their best songs. This band has never really stuck to one sound — every album has brought something new.

People are never satisfied.

You all seem to think it would be best if they went back to the sound of The Poison, but honestly, I don’t think that style would work the same way today. Music has moved on, and trying to recreate the exact sound they had 20 years ago probably wouldn’t have the same impact. Their willingness to evolve is part of what makes BFMV what they are.

I actually love this song, and I can't wait to see what the album will sound like as a whole. I really think that this album is going to be amazing. I know a lot of people don't like the new song, but I would just like to know your overall opinion on social apocalypse and what are your expectations of the album?

Death By A Thousand Cuts would’ve been a great single for the new album, if they had saved it.

I feel the song is a great balance of Bullet DNA and would’ve been a great single as opposed to a deep cut on the last album; the suspenseful intro, the melodic chorus, the heavy parts, etc.
