Lately I've been rewatching season four of RHOD because this show lives in my brain like a parasite, and I got to the part where Leanne goes on her racist tirade against Cary for being friends with Kameron and taking her to the ping pong show. And, like, if the fever dream that was season five (the covid season! with queen dr tiffany moon! and everyone being exposed as being kinda Really Racist) didn't exist, and this show was being aired right now, I wonder if they'd still keep renewing it, considering the conservative pendulum shift in mainstream television? Or is/was Leanne too much of a liability to have on TV?

A quick tangent: I find Leanne really intriguing but really in a way you watch a trainwreck. I'm sure there's some tiktok deep dive I can find about her and her carnie adolescence, so I intend to look for some later. And being a horrible person aside, I still do quote her "I saw her husband getting his dick sucked at the Roundup and I know the boys who did it" line on a weekly basis. Bad texan accent and all.

Not to mention all the business ventures funded by her generational wealth have flopped. She’s not a rich boss bitch. It’s all smoke and mirrors. Her only authentic qualities are her mean spirit and rotted disposition.

These are my unpopular opinions so I’m not adding, subtracting, replacing or deleting or arguing about anything. Just tell me YOURS instead.

Erika Jayne was shit from the beginning. She just had enough money and fashions to distract us from her cruelty.

Teresa Giudice was not wrong for reacting how she did every single season to her family and everyone around her digging into her family business. Her family blindsided and attacked her at every turn. And they made their mutual friends take sides.

It was Marlo Hampton that elevated looks. It was Porsha Williams that elevated looks as content.

Nene Leakes was never wrong. She was just always early.

Tamra Judge never stopped her bullshit because she never had to face off with Atlanta.

Jen Shah did not give Heather Gay a black eye.

Lisa Rinna may have entertained some but she was one of the most destructive Beverly Hills housewives of all time, second only to Brandi Glanville.

Porsha Williams has been with both Kandi Burruss and Shamea Morton sexually. Kandi couldn’t help but forgive her and Shamea has completely lost her marbles. I just know that sex was OUTSTANDING.

I do believe Kathy Hilton is the single most powerful woman across any franchise and she’s not even a housewife.

Monica Garcia was not iconic. She is a Level 10 stalker with deep mother issues.

Danielle Staub didn’t start off as a villain. She was actually chill and cool. But she was targeted and badgered so much by Caroline Manzo that a villain was born. SMH…she did a heel turn and never looked back.

The only colorist on RHOP is Candiace Bassett.

Kim Richards didn’t deserve the foolery RHOBH gave her.

Mary Cosby’s husband completely brainwashed and groomed her from a very young age and I believe he abused her.

There is absolutely nothing grand about Karen Huger’s four DUIs. Nothing.

Shannon Beador needs a treatment facility. And I don’t say that dismissively.

People around Atlanta know it was actually Carlos King who told Phaedra Parks the rumors about Kandi Burruss. Phaedra never even repeated it on camera and I find it unfair that she solely took the fall for that.

Speaking of Kandi Burruss, she sucks. She’s a male-centered rape apologist/supporter.

Gizelle Bryant is not a villain. She is a church gossiper. Why? Because she genuinely doesn’t care about any of those women nor what is happening. She only cares about getting shit started and collecting her Bravo check.

The only person on SLC that is not obsessed with Lisa Barlow and Meredith Marks is Mary Cosby. Yes. At this point, it is obsession and it’s laughably obvious and creepy.

Garcelle Beauvais was absolutely too good for RHOBH. And another thing… Garcelle is indeed an icon in our community. So put some respect on her name 💅🏾

I want to first preface this with an apology! I don't mean to trauma dump to strangers on the internet, but I've had a particularly tough year and have found myself reflecting on Mary's ability to overcome after the tragic passing of her only son, Robert. This housewives community is a great place to have fun and rant on these crazy ladies, but as longtime Housewives fan, I think these women also provide perspective to unique experiences in life that us watchers can relate to.

This year has felt like a succession of "worst case scenarios" that hasn't proven to stop for me yet. I was feeling stuck in my role at work where the company's expectations were consistently becoming more and more unrealistic with immense pressure to perform. I finally found a new opportunity and took 4 weeks off to reset my burnout battery. During that time, my dog started having serious medical issues. I'm talking facial paralysis, a ruptured eyeball, physical limitations seemingly out of nowhere. I spent my sabbatical taking him to veterinary specialists and sleeping on the couch with him to give all his medications on a strict schedule. The week I started my new role, I received a phone call from a random hospital stating my father was experiencing organ failure after relapsing from his alcoholism. This happened a few years ago and thankfully he survived, but this recent event led to several months of driving an hour each way multiple days a week to advocate for my father. He was told he likely only going to survive a few weeks, but refused hospice. While he's doing better for now, he still is suffering from end-stage liver disease and is not eligible for a transplant, so its really a matter of time until I have to step up and start to make these hard decisions on his behalf again. Its been a cloud looming over my day-to-day as I've transitioned into my new role that is nothing like what I expected it to be. They lied during the interview process about the travel expectation and now I've learned the company has been struggling for quite some time. I'm feeling stuck and discouraged all over again.

Last week it was confirmed that my dog has a malignant tumor that has spread enough that there's nothing we can do for him. I was essentially given a "keep him comfortable" prognosis and I'm bitter because I feel like the veterinary specialists dropped the ball and missed something major while we could still do something. He's going downhill so quickly and I'm heartbroken at the idea of what comes next, and it feels like everything is crumbling around me. While I've been feeling kind of sorry for myself, I keep being reminded of Mary Cosby. I've never been much of a fan of hers - she's good entertainment but never could see past the cult stuff - but the season premier where she spoke about losing her son but continuing to move forward has stuck with me. Her strength is incredible, like Andy said on WWHL, she's a true testament about having faith. I'm not even religious! Mary's ability to find strength and hold hope that despite this awful thing, she needs to continue with her life because everything has a bigger purpose. Its helping me stay strong and remove the self-pity I've had all year because she's right, everything happens for a reason and life goes on.

Thanks for listening to my rant! Again - not looking for any sympathy, just wanting to articulate that Housewives means so much more than catty rich ladies fighting, and that I hope any of you reading this have found happiness within this community. These woman, despite all their differences and arguments, can come together to support each other when life feels a little too real. So I'll tell ya how I'm doing .... not well bitch!!

Amanda really threw away a golden opportunity during the British Icon themed dinner party aboard the yacht. She could have nailed Patsy Stone from the 90s A+ comedy series Absolutely Fabulous with very little effort. They already have similar hair, backcombing a bouffant wouldn’t have been difficult. Patsy is a style icon, many of her outfits I could see Amanda wearing a modern versions of. THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN A MOMENT.

make Heather and Whitney feel so insecure? I'm watching from S1 for the first time (I've already seen S4 to present) and I'm finishing S2 right now. Heather and Whitney always seem to jump at any chance to say Lisa feels superior to them but I haven't seen Lisa really say or do anything about being better than them.

Especially for Whitney, what is is about Lisa that irks her so much. Is it as simple as jealousy? Am I missing something? I know in later seasons Lisa is very much "I live a different life than all of you" but at this point they always blame her, throw things on her, or claim she's a big scheming manipulator.

Could it just be that Lisa has been able to make Mormonism work for her in a way they haven't, so they pick at her lifestyle since it's not "Mormon enough?"

I'm no where near a Lisa apologist but make it make sense please lol

Wow. I'm getting caught up on the last 2 episodes and I've finally seen the full van scene and wow. Angie with the toothbrushes was a total cunt move, Bronwyn straight up lying and denying what we all saw her say on camera who was probably the worst of all here, she was such a bitch and then laughing and talking to Whitney after they dropped a bomb between Quai and Heather and Quai is trying to clear things up. Heather wasn't even trying to listen because she goes along with whatever Whitney tells her. Lastly, Whitney fucking wild rose the pot stirrer herself who told Angie the toothbrush story AND said Quai called Heather diabolical when she didn't say that. WOW. Angie, Bronwyn and bad weather are the diabolical ones. They were all complete assholes!!!!

The episode was hands down one of the housewives episodes of all time, I seriously think they should submit it for an Oscar

Still reeling from the news of her divorce filing, Sai grills Carole, which upsets Daisy. Jessel learns of a rumor from Sai, dragging her into the middle of Sai’s argument with Erin.

I don’t know if it’s done done or 8000 square feet but it’s definitely big.

I am listening to Carlos King's podcast where he recapped the season premiere. It's obvious Wendy's "friendship"/alliance with Gizelle has fizzled out. But they are stating that Stacey and Wendy's friendship is strained. I haven't seen anything but are they basing it on interviews the two have given?
