Two months without my soul dog of 13 years
Still feeling numb and empty, but so grateful he was in my life for so long. Here he is in his younger days.

They had a very busy weekend helping me greet customers at the yard sale, so they’re spending the day catching up on all of the naps they missed out on!

Old Pic^
My 1.5yr old boxer was fine until she went into her first heat. She started getting really itchy after the heat and has since developed a case of ringworm and may potentially have allergies. We tried steroids and it help for a short time but she was still slightly itchy. I’ve been washing her for the past 4 weeks with the anti fungal shampoo but if that doesn’t work what’s usually the next plan of action. Also any recommendations for cheaper allergy medicines?

2 weeks ago I’ve noticed some blood dripping from his penis… Ares is almost 7yo healthy intact male, but now his leukocytes are high and he had blood dripping from his penis, but not in his urine. I’ve contacted the vet immediately and we ran the urine test, and it all points to urinary infection but my vet is worried it could be bladder stone or even prostate cancer.. He’s on antibiotics and pain killers and this week we’ll have an ultrasound. I’m just so worried and hoping it’s “just” something simpler than cancer, if anyone has any experience or advice-it’s welcome! 🥺😢

My boy is a mixed mastiff he has about maybe 20% boxer in him and I wanna know is this lil dance thing typical of a boxer or another breed or is he just tapped?🤣
We've had a nice long weekend and now she's tired. She's the sweetest girl I've ever known.

Hello all!
We have a five month old mix puppy (75% boxer) who is just a love. He’s the best.
BUT THE STOMACH ISSUES.
He has loose stools about every other day, sometimes even in his crate in the middle of the night. His appetite hasn’t changed, he seems totally fine behavior wise.
At first we thought he was somehow getting into something, we were moving and he kept trying to get at the cardboard boxes, and our kiddos are new to having a dog and weren’t always careful about leaving snacks around or dropping crumbs. However, we’ve really gotten a handle on making sure he doesn’t eat anything he shouldn’t.
Things we’ve tried:
I know boxers are prone to digestive issues but I’m trying to get a handle on it because while he doesn’t seem uncomfortable- I’m growing weary of cleaning up his kennel at 6 in the morning.
I’m searching for any ideas to try that I might be missing. This is our first family dog in general and I’m just wanting to do best by him.
Picture for tax.

Hi all,
What can I do so my boy is not bored in the house? He is 14 months old and full of energy. I know the tug and off leash running is not enough for him. What can I do inside the apartment to mentally stimulate him and burn more energy off? He barks sometimes when even after walks and long play sessions and he definitely needs more. I’ve been working on reinforcing his basic training when I can and he’s been doing better every day. There is a small field near me that I let him off leash and practice recall and stuff.

Sorry it’s a little long, but at the end you’ll see him look up because that’s what he wants is the treats up there. I took him to the vet and the vet said he is obese. He’s 92 lbs so i suppose he is on the plump side…a said he should only weigh 66-77 lbs, i think he’d be skin and bones because he’s really tall.
How much does your boxer weigh and has the vet ever told you your boxer was fat?

Had a big day today, settled into his bed, explored the house, and the yard!

Picked up our 8 week old boy today, he's been a dream. No accidents on the long car journey home and been calm and playing well all day. He's now fast asleep in his crate!

Not my first boxer, I’ve grown up with them, but my first brindle boy! From Maraquita Boxers, based in VIC, Australia.
