AI won’t take Bitcoin from $2T to $10T. The money printer will.

We tend to overestimate what is possible in the short term and underestimate what is possible in the long term.

AI/SI has a lot to figure out in the near term. That adoption will come, but extreme indebtedness is eating the West alive today. That’s what drives Bitcoin higher first

Love Jack and his drive.

Unfortunately critical thinking is on decline all over the world. Hate and apathy is at ATH regarding bitcoin.

I just don’t see this changing anytime soon.

Narratives are driven by social media algos and the owners of those platforms highly benefit from the fiat standard.

Hated pumps still pump. It's just funnier for us when it happens.

The fiat standard highly profits from the rise of Bitcoin. That's institutions load up now. Most banks and funds have to wait for Basel III rule change.

SI? Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit.

BTW the AI bubble popping is what will cause the money printer go into turbo mode.

Agree with 1st point

2nd one tho maybe true will not counter the amount of panic selling that will hit all corners including btc

Imo if the monetary system fails and a bread becomes 1000usd a Bitcoin will follow that price increase. The latest move looks mainly caused by a weakened dollar, less trust in the dollar means more trust in alternatives.

Keep in mind that this scenario isn’t an increase in value. The inflation case is one where you do not have any additional buying power.

1

u/carsonthecarsinogen 17h ago

Depends. Could go either way.

What you say is true but the price could extend past that point due to demand.

It could also underperform the rate of inflation.

1

u/totallynotexciting 17h ago

Right. That’s the actual argument.

Yea if it happens it’s not good for the 99% but BTC could drastically counter that by being the ACTUAL store of value.

1

u/genius_retard 12h ago

There's two way to get richer, either increase you net worth or reduce everyone else's. This scenario is the second option.

1

u/Minimum_Raccoon_1501 12h ago

But it doesn’t though. When the price of everything goes ten x then the btc doesn’t buy anything more than it does now.

3

u/genius_retard 12h ago

When everyone else's money is devalued by 90% and mine stays the same I can hire people for 90% less too.

Their intake also increases close to inflation. Otherwise there are riots, in which case you need bullets not Bitcoin.

1

u/genius_retard 11h ago

Has that been your experience over the last decade or so?

0

u/Minimum_Raccoon_1501 10h ago

No, that’s why I have more guns and dry food storage than btc

u/EnderSword 20h ago

And where simply owning ANY asset will produce the same effect.

2

u/napkinolympics 16h ago

I don't think bonds will do very well in a high inflation scenario.

1

u/EnderSword 12h ago

Yeah, not debt. In another comment I listed some off and didn't include fixed income, you're right.

Does he do the no clothes in the large closet room on purpose? That thing is as big as my apartment, those msnbc interviews I know he’s got fiat for clothes.

3

u/CosmoSein_1990 21h ago

Looks like he went to an open house and filmed this in the closet.

14

u/HonkyTonkWalk 20h ago

he has been interviewing there for years

I wouldn't underestimate AI. The agents will eventually need to interact.  When they do, they'll need a way to transfer value.  Each AI platform can either develop its own proprietary token ecosystem, or it can just use bitcoin.

-4

u/UroborosJose 22h ago

Ai doesn’t need bitcoin or crypto for no shit

6

u/SannySen 22h ago

Remember this exchange

u/Killahbeez 17h ago

describe your vision lololol bunch of autonomous agents passing Bitcoin back and forth in real time? lol for what ?

-1

u/EnderSword 20h ago

You couldn't use Bitcoin though, they'd all just run around hacking each other's memory to get the keys.

1

u/SannySen 16h ago

What would they use instead?

2

u/EnderSword 12h ago

Money? What do we all use?

You'd obviously want a thing that has human intervention baked in, the money the AI controls can't be 'theirs' it'd have to belong to the person or company using the AI.

You'd want legal ownership of the funds

"AI/SI has a lot to figure out in the near term."

Wow, people actually using "SI"? Pathetic.

1

u/immersive-matthew 18h ago

I am looking at the rate of hacking of Centralized services over time and that trend line when extended out into the near future is scary. Like OMG we are not ready for the chaos and your bank is not either.

Bitcoin while not impossible to hack, is a lot harder as demonstrated by 17 years of attacks by countless actors some state level. The next wave of adoption will not be voluntary.

1

u/Foreign-Concept-1184 16h ago

The beautiful thing about adoption? If the idea is innovative and has utility? Nothing can or will stop it. Bitcoin will endure. Fiat is the gateway. SATOSHIS RISE!

Have you ever quit a job?

Bro is just flexing his apartment-sized closet.

-2

So so so so so tired of people talking at me in videos like this.

Please everybody. Just give it a break.

6

u/TheCurlyHomeCook 20h ago

Always the option to not watch. For example, I didn't. They physically cannot talk at you, but you can choose whether or not to watch.

Whose closet is this guy streaming from

0

u/CatButtHoleYo 17h ago

Ok but where can I buy a regular-priced house with a massive closet like that?

-1

u/freesects 21h ago

Oh no, not this guy again 😩

-3

u/jasperCrow 21h ago

Jack is a joke. His views shouldn’t be trusted.

-3

u/EnderSword 21h ago

The thing is if money printing does...then who cares?

If Inflation is the main driver in BTC price growth, then it'd be the same for a house or gold or stocks so why take the extra risk?

-4

u/Codify-The-Preamble 19h ago

Artificial scarcity is not real scarcity.

-9

u/LifesARiver 21h ago

Lol, bitcoin at 10T is hilarious.

7

u/SpecialistSoil5057 21h ago

I mean in a world where everything 5-10x again due to inflation it’ll happen but it’s real purchasing power would not increase.

0

u/Awkward_Potential_ 20h ago

How do you know where that new money actually goes? Print 10x more dollars and gas, eggs, and tuna don't all obediently 10x , the world is messier than that.

New money enters through banks and asset markets first, so it bids up scarce assets way before it shows up in grocery prices. We literally just watched it. M2 up 40% since 2020, assets ripped multiples, wages didn't.

2

u/SpecialistSoil5057 19h ago

So what’s your point? Wages don’t keep up with inflation, that’s where the left side of the meme comes from. Bitcoin might be “scarce” but people need to actually want it.

My grandmother has a whole room of rare and “valuable” dolls. She can’t get rid of them even to charities.

By 2030 the fad could be over and people don’t find it valuable. Or it could be very valuable. No one really knows but don’t kid yourself, you’re at the casino. Try to leave when you’re up but most leave broke.

0

u/Awkward_Potential_ 19h ago

Do you think gold is also "the casino"? Do you think either benefit in dollar terms off of the debasement of the dollar?

-8

u/LifesARiver 21h ago

Bitcoin has yet to prove any use as a currency or value store. It's still exclusively a casino.

6

u/Inevitable-Waltz-889 20h ago

Market cap, not per coin.

-6

u/LifesARiver 20h ago

Fair. Still seems sort of unlikely. The bitcoin investors will eventually all turn to prediction markets. Easier casino to manipulate.

1

u/bitsteiner 8h ago

Global real estate is valued at 400T, stocks at 100T, gold 30T, Musk is at 1T. 10T isn't that much.

-5

u/jaeldi 21h ago

Bitcoin going high is because the dollar is going low. In 2 years, When a hamburger cost 40 bitcoin, bitcoin didn't win. Hyperinflation won.

4

u/TheCurlyHomeCook 20h ago

That has to be the wildest price prediction I've ever seen.

0

u/jaeldi 20h ago

Im exaggerating to make a point. I hope it's not THAT bad in two years but everything did double in dollar price in a very short time period.

I'm still waiting for the prophecy that "Bitcoin will be a hedge against inflation" to come true.

2

u/TheCurlyHomeCook 20h ago

Valid. I see it as a hedge against inflation etc but you're quite right that when it is at a low, or you're at a loss - it's not hedging much at all. But long term, it has done exceedingly well against fiat and certainly thrives when inflation is high.
