break-up and seeking advice
BP1 here. I went through a bad break-up a few weeks ago, and I’ve been going on more dates to distract myself.
After the dates, and just in general, I feel so empty and keep ruminating on him. We weren’t even dating that long. The worst, or more frustrating part, is that I didn’t even tell him I was bipolar. And he still noped out.
I’m dipping in and out of stable to depressive episodes. My sleep is poor, and I’m so distracted throughout the day. Besides the bad nights of sleep I am exhausted from the emotional pain.
My question is how do you keep yourself busy during a break-up and stay stable?

So sorry for this, I hope you will be okay. Also BP1 here. A similar thing happened to me 2 days ago. I told him I was bipolar though, maybe it was the reason. I think you not telling him you were bipolar was better. If he left you because you had a chronic illness, it would be worse, he would maybe think he wouldn't want to deal up with your illness. But this way, he left you because of your other normal characteristics, this means this is not your fault, you just were not meant for each other. For your stability; I would recommend Quetiapine at low doses can make you sleep. Also, I usually study when I want to fill my mind so I can not think.
