The highest individual peak out of any athlete in a team sport. And no, we are not talking about sports played by 4 countries.

Tough tiddies. You cheat, you don't get to have a reputation as anything but a cheater.

Then almost every other top team/player cheated in history.

Reductionist approach for any match that took place 40 years ago is bullshit.

Oh and take out England for cheating in 1966, Germany for that Klinsmann dive to earn a decisive penalty in the final, Spain in 2010 for alleged drug use and Germany in 2014 for deliberate attempts to injure opponent throughout the tournament.

Chosen incidents and selective bias are not worth a discussion.

Edit: don't care about the downvotes. They rarely mean anything.

I wasn't being selective. Unsportsmanlike conduct is unsportsmanlike conduct. Whether it was 40 years ago or yesterday. We haven't evolved into a different species in the last half century. You cheat, you know you were cheating, you're a cheater. Simple as.

You are being selective in not acknowledging that these are commonplace and not a massively rare incident.

Also those titles Maradona won with Napoli, were they a part of cheating as well? Such a forced hate against a particular individual.
