Idunno what you’re talking about. ICP and their fans are very anti-racist. Songs like “Fuck your rebel flag” is on their first album and “Chicken Huntin” is about killing rednecks. You are wrong my guy.

Yep, plenty of lyrics about anti-misogyny as well. I'm an admitted fan of the older stuff (I listened up through about Great Milenko) and just found their songs funny and entertaining. My wife and I still crank Boogie Woogie Wu and The Neden Game on occasion. They're just fun and plainly (well, to us I guess) goofy and irreverent.

99% of their stuff shouldn't be taken seriously IMO, but that they (seriously) have a theme of anti-misogynistic/racist lyrics should at least be noted. Though noted objectification of women on their own, which does cancel some of that out, it doesn't speak of rape or physical abuse.

I listened to ICP for a good chunk of my formative years.. 25 years later I can look back and say it was surely the sexually charged lyrics on the radio that formed my perspective more than the CDs and stuff I went out to find on my own.

ICP, 2 live crew, KMK just weren't censored. Keith sweat, genuine, D'Angelo, a few years later we're on the radio leaking and soaking wet.. pretty sure those are the ones we were "allowed" to listen to that screwed the generation up.
