Its impressively stable but doesn't look very intimidating at that scale. Imagine if they built it at 3x that size.

Perfect timing, too, while we’re all going to war with each other over here. We’d be waaay too distracted to notice Judgement Day sneaking up behind us.

Mmhmm that's the idea. And the AI could do that. It has said itself that's how it would do it. Manipulate what we see. Instill confusion, distrust and unrest. We would do it to ourselves. They'd be custodial at that point. It's kind of sad that I find that last bit almost comforting. The devil you know...
