Announcement Lanterns Secret Episode 9 Spoiler discussion Megathread.
Due to how BIG that new episode of Lanterns that aired last night was, we will be having a spoiler post dedicated completely to that episode.
WHAT AN FINALE YOU GUYS! What a satisfying conclusion compare to episode 8.

Nah the way he kept going between the "A" and "Er" variations during that speech to show the conflict within himself because of the racism his parents placed within him, that his friendship with John has challenged, was pretty smart subtle writing.

I thought it was a clever touch that Hal pulled out a jangling keys construct to keep the audience entertained during the boring talking while John created a Subway Surfers gameplay construct to show the generational divide between them.

Matt Damon didn't convince me he was Odysseus, Tom Holland's acting fell a bit flat, the dialogue wasn't great, I was just all around underwhelmed and a little disappointed. Honestly, the only bits that were probably enjoyable were the action (mainly the final fight scene in the palace) and Robert Pattinsons acting.

Ig that’s a fair take.
I wouldn’t say it was scared of the mythos but it was definitely used very sparingly. I’d bump it up to a 5/10 as a traditional GL show though.

Absolute cinema, when sinestro try to resurrected hal but it went wrong. So instead of kyle chandler we got ryan reynold as hal jordan that got posessed by parallax. Can't wait for the super secret episode 10.

I was not expecting the Sinestro/Hal Jordan/John Stewart threesome to be that graphic but I suppose it was true to the comics

I can't believe after resurrected Parallax Hal went down and Sinestro was locked up Mogo actually showed up to Hal's second funeral. He was standing right next to John and they both shared a beautiful moment

I now understand where all the budget went, I seriously wasnt expecting the secret final episode to be John using his ring to create highly detailed constructs of sex toys alongside constructs of the people he had sex with in his life and just having a huge orgy. honestly, my eyes require some bleach after this.

There u guys go, sinestro corps and parallax in 1 episode holy rushed ending. Should've ended on previous episode smh. Even then no green constructs is funny when the yellow constructs appears more in this episode

After months of hyping up ‘Thoughts’ on Lanterns, we finally got a glimpse of them in the final episode. Really cool! Can’t wait to see more of Thoughts and John Lantern in the next season/movie/book/YT video/Sextape.

Really happy they brought back Hal, and excited to see him as a Yellow Lantern next season.
Didn't need the John x Sinestro sex scene, but seeing Mogo in the cuck chair was neat.

I can't decide which part was my favorite, the scene where Damon Lindelof and Tom King punched a Green Lantern comic while saying "We hate the fans," or the part where John Stewart and Hal Jordan came out in fully CGI costumes and just started making constructs and blowing things up and Hal was like "I bet you guys are sick of all the boring talking and big themes, here's some action"

They had us worried with episode 8 but then BOOM this episode comes out and Sinestro is back with yellow lantern ring he rezzes Hal who becomes Paralax and we get an epic show down of Hal and Sinestro vs reformed manhunter and John! And then in the end Hal becomes good and sacrifices himself dying a dignified death instead of being shot by some cop! EPIC! and that 10 hour say gex scene between hal and sonestro!!! !<
