Shower Supurrvisor Why does my cat do this after I shower?

My cats get in there because it’s cool - this hellacious hundred degree weather we’ve been having has been hard on all of us. A couple of them will get in the tub when there’s an inch of water in it, just walk around it like it’s nothing in order to drink from it.

my girl does this. she likes to sit in my sink after i do the dishes too. i think its because she likes the warmth and shes also a mermaid

Fresh or running water in the wild is less likely to be contaminated with algae/plants/fish poop/land animal poop/dead animals.

Mine does too - literally getting in as I’m getting out and gives herself a bath in there. I think because it’s warm.

  • it's still warm and steamy in there
  • my little dude is fascinated by the water going down thr drain
  • he's still puzzled as to why I do this daily but will lay down outside thr shower just in case the water kills me!

Mine comes to join me every time after I shower for her cat sauna cuddles in the warm steamy bathroom! She sometimes gets in the bath/shower with me too 😅

I think she does! She likes to stand on the ledge, between the shower liner and curtain, and loves to look at the water drops go down the liner

I wonder if they are attracted to the heated cast-iron after a shower or a bath? Is your tub made of cast-iron?
