Thank you for offering to take the blame but really it was me. I’m to blame. But it was an accident, see? I tripped and fell into OP’s apartment and the only thing available to stop my fall was OP’s shower curtain.
I must have slipped and almost fell about 24 times, give or take.

I’m absolutely gone with how perplexed he looks staring at the tattered curtain. 🤣 Like, “I got here when you did, just like you, I too am entirely unsure how this happened, must have been mice.”
