freak that bothers me in the bath

I have an entire folder on my phone dedicated entirely to pictures of her beside the bathtub while I’m in it. She will not let you wash yourself without her permission (pictured, she stands up on the edge of the tub and stares at you) or unless she’s grooming herself and thus too distracted. She likes being rendered soggy by wet bath hands (also pictured) and sometimes will rub her stupid body against your wet legs when you get out. She is a thief of towels and bathrobes alike.

Oh we do it every week and as often as we can otherwise. It isn’t my bathroom as I live at home and it’s always had this extremely persistent issue no matter what we do. You haven’t even seen the ceiling yet where there’s an entire panel of the wall gone cos my father meant to finish the bathroom 19 years ago and it is, notably, unfinished still. It looks unsightly and nasty and I hate it deeply but we’re kind of stuck with it. Could scrub all the shit off and within the next few days it’s all back and I and my mother are both disabled and operate on limited energy where consistently doing that every single day is out of the question. It’s also the original bath that came with the house (originally built in 1977) and is multi-panelled rather than those fancy baths that are all one singular piece and we’d love one of those cos it’s far easier to clean if it wasn’t several thousand dollars (which, is something that we cannot afford).

I don’t think you’re being a dick at all cos you’re not like “wow you’re disgusting and nasty and filthy lol” over something extremely minor in comparison to how bad it could get if, god forbid, something happens to my mother and I and my dad is notorious for not giving a fuck and overall being lazy (see: unfinished panel for the last 19 years) so he wouldn’t do shit anyways. And it would never be as bad as my friend’s late father who was a hoarder in a house full of mold and mice that his still living children have to clean up now. So yeah. It’s nasty but it’s Sisyphean lol so we just deal.
