I remember my late cat used to look at me in panic whenever I took a bath. She'd get up on her hind legs and have this look on her face of "WTF ARE YOU DOING HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIIIIIND!?". I miss her.

Mine too 😭 If I didn't close the bathroom door all the way it was mournful meowling the whole time, kitty perched on the toilet and supervising. I miss that

Awwww my new kitten is like this ..when I first got her she'd circle the bath crying and sleep next to it. Id take my wet arm out occasionally and pet her and she loved it and would purr like an engine. Now she sleeps next to it, no crying. She's only been tall enough at 8 months to jump in (when it's empty) and peeks in when I'm in there... I think our kitties are super smart...my late cat would peek in sometimes, but mostly just jump up on the toilet and watch from there... He was super smart and quickly learned tricks (to get treats), opened doors, learned commands/understood a bunch of words... My constant companion....gods I miss him... RIP to our late beloved bath peekers and soulcats...

Just like you love to watch him taking his baths, he loves to watch you taking yours.

I had a sweet red kitty girl who did the same thing.

Depending on the soap and shampoo you use, he may also like the steam and the scent.

Treasure this. It's rare for a cat to do this.

Honestly, I’d prefer that.

My best bud used to forget how a shower door or curtain rod work (both types, different bathroom eras) and would jump straight up and over them and land in the bathtub.

And… really hated it. Over and over. I couldn’t ever get used to a panicked cat landing in my shower and trying to get out. Sometimes I wasn’t showering. Sometimes I was having a bath….
