Need help from a Royal Mail worker

So I have a delivery for a friend that’s a gift and it’s NFL related and he’s going to a match this weekend. I didn’t put Trimbridge house, floor 2 at the top, instead it’s investment funds direct limited. - if you know a posty in the BA1 1HB area then please spread the good message as the delivery failed today. My bad

I'm ex Royal Mail, what does the failed delivery message say? was the package tracked? Packages will go back to the delivery office if failed to be automatically tried again the next day. So it will go out again with tomorrows delivery to the same address. Best bet is to go to the delivery office in Manvers Street and enquire after 4pm, as the package should be there again if not delivered tomorrow

Its trim street with quite a few businesses, I wanted it to go to the main building but I used a business name not plastered on the front anymore. So posty probably gets there and thinks well which building. It may end up getting returned to sender if they’re not successful tomorrow. I’m not in Bath or I’d just get it from a delivery office. Thanks for the response

we deliver to the building, not the name/businesss name, so as long as the building address/postcode is correct it should get to the right building. did you say you had proof it failed? an email or text? there should be a tracking number (2 letters, numbers then gb). If you give your friend this number and he goes to the sorting office with his ID, they should be able to give it to him.
