I was born in 1930. Around the time I turned 12 she banned me from shaving. That way I could tell the Army I was 18 and fight against the g#mers trying to take over the world at the time.

Mother banned most things for my seventeen siblings and I. Play time? Banned! Fun? Banned! Books? Banned! School? Banned! Doctor’s visits? Banned! It might seem harsh but it made myself and my 2 surviving siblings grow to become stronger adults.
