After a quiet march across the 1st Street Bridge, the protest has begun. There are a few people still trickling in.

I didn't send it out or anything. I don't even know how this works lol, but I hope it's up there because Google thought it was a good picture.
I foolishly deleted the original post because I wanted to give it a better title, not knowing that the image had been picked by the search engine :/

Regardless of your opinion the fact that we CAN express ourselves is what matters.

Little dude was at a customer's home in Austin ,TX. So they are poisonous but it looks like they haven't really killed many people. Is it because of small teeth or strictly because they are scared?

I'm a hobby photographer in Austin and wanted to share some pics I took last month around town. The North Loop photos were taken with Austin Photo Walkers last weekend.
Follow up: Thanks everybody for all the nice comments and support! I got some requests for prints so I set up a website and Etsy marketplace for anybody that is interested.

Nearly ran him over while out running. I scooched him off of the sidewalk, in the process he definitely tried to bite me, but he was too small.

If you want red, white, and blue this week, the painted bunting overdelivers: the males look colored-in by a kid who refused to stay in the lines - blue head, red underparts, green back. Early French naturalists called it 'nonpareil,' meaning without equal. They're breeding across central and east Texas brush country right now, but they're shy, so a feeder near thick cover is your best bet. Recent sightings around the area below. Genuinely one of the most beautiful birds in North America and most Texans have never seen one.

Always love seeing photos of Austin wildlife on here, and I had been seeing glimpses of a family of extremely fast grey foxes racing through my yard every day. Took these photos from my window of one of them on the only occasion I’ve seen one not running.
I have a small pup and a 5 year old son and I’m cautious especially at night but these foxes are serious blurs through the yard and don’t appear to be aggressive. Looked it up and foxes can run up to 42mph!
