Does anyone know how to lock the date and time settings so they cannot be changed?

if I had someone blocked and they send me a text (during the block), but then after i unblock they reply to their own text message that was sent during the blocked period, what would that look like? would the reply bubble still be there but just empty? or would it not even show the reply bubble at all and just send as a solo text? just curious because i had someone i had blocked send me a message that didn’t really make sense, so i’m curious if it was possibly meant to be a reply to a blocked message i never received. thanks

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to actually delete this app?

After I did the newest iOS update last week, this Playground app keeps downloading itself on my phone after I’ve deleted it several times. I think I’ve deleted it, not just removed it from my home screen, at least six times since the update.

Not only am I beyond frustrated and annoyed with all of the AI garbage, now it’s also downloading apps without my permission. Or who knows, Apple probably does have my permission to do anything it wants with my phone and information at this point.

If anyone has suggestions on how to permanently delete this app, I would appreciate it.

i’ve had this iphone 16 december 2025 so not even a year yet. all of the sudden 2 weeks ago my phone started having these lines and staggering stuff. it comes on here and there everyday but not all day. when i first saw it i shut down my phone and then it was fine but then it started happening again. i’m able to use my phone and use apps and text and stuff. when i screenshot it it doesn’t show the lines and stuff. i don’t remember dropping it that hard or getting it in water prior to it starting. so im just kind of lost of what’s the problem and if it can be fixed

I use the 3 finger swipe to switch between full screens. I was using Logic Pro in full screen when my display randomly switched to the main screen and now I cant swipe between any displays. I have about 5 hours of unsaved work on a project in logic pro and I can't even access it to save it! I haven't restarted my laptop for that reason. Ive checked the trackpad settings and messed around with them but nothing has helped. I can't find any recourses online for this specific thing at all. Any help is greatly appreciated! I don't want to lose this project!

Hey guys, I have a 12pm this morning I was scrolling through my phone and it froze up for a second and suddenly I lost three years worths of text message history on my phone. The latest message was from 2023 so I lost a majority of my text history including people I met, crucial information, aswell as schedules and appointments. I during this also I also had a problem where my FaceId was unavailable for a little but I got that fixed after a reset and redoing my faceid. My assumption about my messages is that it fell back from its last sync which also happened to be three years ago. As of now I tried every possible solution online and contacted apple but they regurgitated the same solutions. Has anyone ever had this problem and had it recovered?

hello, I just need some help getting my Apple device to stop doing this.

my Apple device (Ipad) (8th Gen) is now forcefully changing my spelling of things to be the incorrect spellings of things. “What” becomes “whag”, things like “aggressive“ become “AGGRESIVE“,

things like “Two” becomes “Teo” because I mentioned a guy called Teo in text a few times, and now it thinks any 3 letter T word is “Teo”

i will be typing and sometimes it will just change my words to completely different words, also it will sometimes add random things like turning words into “wo-rds“,

no matter what context I use “were” in it automatically becomes “we’re” despite not being the correct word.

I really desperately need this to be fixed, I don’t know how. I am dyslexic so I will not notice it’s done this until someone points it out ; made worse as I just assume a feature meant to correct spelling wouldn‘t purposely force you to make spelling mistakes.

i don’t want to turn autocorrect off as I rely on it as a dyslexic person. so the fact it’s now incorrectly changing words is stressing me out, its basically an aid i need as a dyslexic person that has destroyed itself.
is this a iPad memory issue? is this a system issue? Is there a hidden setting causing this??? I don’t want to have to turn autocorrect off as I rely on it, but if it’s just going to make my ability to type as a dyslexic person worse, then I’ll need too and i’d rather not

any help is appreciated, as when I try to ask anyone else they tell me just to turn autocorrect off, which isn’t what I want, I want to keep autocorrect in my solution

I have AirPods Pro 3, and my left AirPod suddenly sounds muffled. Music sounds muffled in Transparency, Noise Cancellation, and Off modes. In Transparency mode, outside sounds seem louder on the left, and my own voice sounds like I'm talking underwater.
The right AirPod sounds normal. What could be causing this? Could it be earwax blocking the mesh, a microphone issue, or a hardware defect? Has anyone else experienced this, and how did you fix it? I did just clean the eartips

So February this year I signed up for the upgrade iPhone every year program. I purchased the iPhone 17 Pro.

It was financed through Citizens Bank.

Apple Store app tells me to pay $300 and get iPhone Duo with the same program that is running with Klarna now.

That was my plan anyway. So, just because I got iPhone 17 in February and not in September last year, I thought I’d make upfront payments when new iPhones are released.

The problem is, Klarna denied my application. Apple denied trade in unless the device is fully paid off. And gave my Apple Card with $2000 limit. After taxes, this card can’t even finance it not mentioning the fact that it will end up in 100% utilization which is something I never do to any of my credit cards.

I don’t want to finance through the carrier as I’m travelling a lot and it will come as locked.

Apple also doesn’t offer an option on upgrade iPhone program with the Apple card.

Basically, they don’t want this phone back with any of the promos available at Apple.

Rather than commenting that I can’t afford something, what can I do? And what do you guys think? Is this some kind of scammy system, or am I missing something?

When entering the "get ready" process and finishing, I am seeing could not approve your application.

At first it was due to my credits being frozen so I removed the freeze.

After trying again I got to the document area covering everything that the lease entails and when i clicked finished I did not see any errors.. but the apple store app continues to show the "get ready" button so I am assuming the finalization did not go through.

I went through through the process again, but I now see "Could not approve your application" and stating an email was sent. I have not received any emails and it has been over an hour now of trying. I tried with my apple card as well as my debit card. I tried both new phone and upgrading current phone but still nothing.

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?

My 2 years apple care + plan is about to end (valid until 5nov).

I want to know how can I renew it. I don’t see an option to get another plan.

Anyone here went through the same situation?

I recently tried to open an m1 macbook air after noticing the right speaker failing.
I ended up not changing the speaker itself (still waiting for the replacement speaker to arrive in the mail) so i closed it back up.

one thing to note is that i did not unplug the battery whilst i removed the speaker itself to check on it, but i did turn off the macbook itself with the "shutdown option".

Now the mac doesn't seem to be able to enter recovery mode, and, the audio jack and touch id sensor both stopped working as well (they were previously working fine with no issues whatsoever).

I don't know what could've went wrong, but i do know that i can't run diagnostics because i can't enter the recovery mode menu in order to be able to do that.

Any suggestion on this matter?

One of my friends suggested opening the macbook back up and unplugging the battery->replugging it back.

Hello about 2 weeks ago I started to notice text message notifications were being delayed on my iPhone. I would get a notification but it would come in 5-20min after the timestamp on the text message or sometimes the message would not come through at all. Sometimes I would get no notifications and then suddenly 5 would come through at once. Now I have noticed it is also happening with Snapchat and outlook notifications. I believe I have all my settings for notifications correct. Has anyone experienced an issue like this? Could it be a bad SIM card or something?

My macbooks (Macbook air 2020 intel) drains its battery when in sleep mode, i tried shutting it down and it doesn’t drain so only in sleep mode. Also heats up when closed.

I’ve tried:

- turning off the power nap

- bluetooth off

- turning automatic system updates off

I also do not plug it into anything or use any other external devices like mouse or keyboards etc.

It did work for a while but before I was able to keep tabs open and turn it on sleep mode and it doesn’t eat any battery, i knew that it was chrome that was eating my battery since I checked monitor activity to see which is using significant energy and prevents my macbook from sleeping. I dont want to close all my tabs just to put my macbook to sleep. What might be the problem?

I’m from Tijuana, Mexico and i will buy it in San Diego, i would like to know about any advice on how to transfer all my data from my old iPhone to the new one, like, making sure it will totally transfer all the data safely since i will leave San Diego about the end of that day
All of the passwords, WhatsApp, pictures, contacts, etc…

Do i need to buy extra space on iCloud? Or just by the option of Quick Start via Wireless works just fine? Would love to hear any advice or help from you guys!
