Hey,
Finished animation at last ! I've posted the progress on r/learnanimation, as i can't post a mp4 file alongside pictures in the same post. It was a first time for me of painting the background with paint, and then put everything together in after effect. Happy with the result 😛A friend made the cute music. On to the next one ✨

I decided to make a rougher animation with the more "analog" painting style I've been applying in recent illustrations. I won't be able to use this in the production of long sequences since it requires much more work than solid colors, however I think I could use it in scenes like flashbacks or dreams.

What do you think?

I made the animation on Callipeg, and composited with Harmony.

I also made a detailled making-of here :https://youtu.be/rVDZenzoZ2o

Dunno if you have seen this new studio ghibili AI stuff. anyways...came here to vent.... this sucks. It is so lame that people view our skill and career as something they can just use a prompt for. I dunno sorry if this is the wrong place for this. It just sucks asss!!!!! screw ai man hehe

Just finished this small animation. Kinda wanted to do something about holding in an anger. Hope I won’t explode like that in real life thou 😂

Hello,

I have a script and I want to bring it to life.

I am just going to get straight to the point, I am paying a total of $15,000 USD no more and no less (20% up front, 30% half way through, 50% by the time we are done). The type of animation that I am seeking is one that is similar to the animation we see in The prophet or hair love. (DEMO REEL REQUIRED)

Honoring my childhood, and checking off a bucket-list scene to animate here... This took forever!

For those who don't know this, matched the intro for SUPER STREET FIGHTER 2 (SNES) as close as I could, with some OC's.

This is my recent animation that I have made. I wanted to express how I felt after overcoming many challenges lately and still standing.
Time spent around 20h
Open for commission, feel free to text me if interested

The first official project I did at age 19-21 with Scrawl Studios. Did most of the work remotely, but had a nice experience in Singapore the few times I went into the physical location. There was a very large animation team I was apart of.

Thanks to a friend in SLR productions, I was given this opportunity at such an age. Very grateful for the experience.

I'll be posting some behind the scenes shortly. I'm 36 now and going through some old archives.

I loved making this!

I drew this on the cover of my high school notebook, and then tried to animate it in college.

Yes, this is me looking for all that interesting projects .
Made in Blender

One day I just started animating, no storyboard, no styleframe, no nothing, just some loose sketches. I really liked this loose flow, it was like animation therapy basically :) Also, i only worked on it when i truly felt like it, zero pressure at all. Thats probably also why it took me almost a year to finish these 11 seconds haha. I still haven't come up with a title tho 🙃

As a kid I used to imagine what would happen if everyone always left a trail of their head behind, that's where the idea initially started :)

Short animation definitely not inspired by my dog, he once ate a balloon and was completely fine.

Here's my YouTube link in case you want to see more funny animations :)

I hope this is the right place to share this. I’m a creator working on an animated series, and I’ve been developing projects like this since I was 14 years old. It’s always been my dream to have a show greenlit and become a real series one day. I currently have a show bible, character art, and a completed pilot, but I’m unsure what steps to take next. If anyone has advice, suggestions, or contacts that could help, I would greatly appreciate it. I’m really passionate about getting this show off the ground and would love any guidance.

All just for school I've never animated on paper before, its kinda annoyin

hello indie animation community ••

i'm building a dark fantasy series called Marlene

A 2D dark fantasy psychological series about a mysterious girl raised in a quiet church who discovers she isn't human, but a cosmic anomaly created by an ancient force that wants to erase existence. When a corrupted Guardian kills the priest who raised her, Marlene's suppressed power erupts, fracturing reality and dragging her into a war between chaos and balance. Now hunted by voidborn beings and forced into a destiny she never asked for, she has one choice: fight her nature... or become the destroyer she was created to be.

i'd love to discover more indie creators and projects too, drop yours below and let's support each other
