Is there a movie or tv show scene where Jenna Ortega has a black-ink spot on her face like in the new movie The Bride!
A m I misremembering? Or maybe it was a completely different actress that had the same black ink splott aesthetic or maybe it was in a commercial for something I do not know for sure anyone know what I may be thinking of?

Discussion Happy Birthday Jenna!
Just like that another year has befallen on the star of our subreddit, turning 24.
Lacking more creativity I figured Iâd just do a post of Jennaâs roles iconic on the silver screen (at least based on IMDBâs credits) through the years; even if she is arguably more popular for her TV roles.
Jenna has held a special place in my heart for a couple of years now, even before really being involved with the subreddit.Â
Thereâs plenty of circumstances that people can point to with Jenna in the modern era that are questionable, but at the end of the day most of us are here for the same reasons;
To admire the young woman she has become,Â
To be fans of her work and her ideas for the world or in film,
To admire her ability to inspire people.

Discussion 'It's All Love' Chapter 6: Believe In Your Power - Passage 13 Overview
For example, due to Covid I was given two years of Community College for free; which sort of allowed me to just coast by without needing to grow up too much, just sort of continuing to act on a different stage.
This later turned into me not wanting to go to a ârealâ university, because I still didnât have a concrete goal in mind. I ended up going through with it due to family circumstances allowing me to attend without taking massive student loans, but now here I am again, this time with a full bachelors degree unsure of what I even want to doâwhat it was all for now that Iâm here.
I changed, sure. Probably for the better. But now here I am just waiting for circumstances to allow me to attempt things that I otherwise would only dream of.
Well, here we are at the final passage in the book. I think I messed up and skipped a few along the way; but oh well, no one is perfect. I'm going to try and make a mega-post for tomorrow, but we'll see how far I get. I thank anyone and everyone that has followed for the last ~100 days.

Discussion 'It's All Love' Chapter 6: Believe In Your Power - Passage 12 Overview
I havenât had many public speaking endeavors outside of âlow stressâ presentations in high school and college settings.
Though there was one time at my grandfather's funeral where I ended up needing to be part of the eulogy because my father had undergone an eye procedure and couldnât read from his notes.
It still wasnât that comparable to speaking at the UN, but it was its own kind of spookyâmy grandfather was one of nine children I believe, and lots of extended family and friends were present that I had never met before.
It was also quite awkward since I was reading the speech from my phone for the first time, without really any context as to the speech since my dad was hoping to recover in time.
I wouldnât have said I did bad by any means, my only real internal critique would have been a lack of emotion given the loss in my more immediate family.Â
Evidently that wasnât acknowledged by the people there, after which there were a number of peopleâthat I probably should have known their names or at least our relation, but didnâtâthat came up to me to congratulate me on the "qualityâ of the speech and the manner in which I was able to speak with a sincere and steadfast cadence.

With Family & Friends Happy Birthday to Joy Sunday and Catherine Zeta-Jones!
I was sort of blindsided by it being this time of year again already, but here we are.
Now I have to try and think of something to post on the 27th with more substance.

Discussion 'It's All Love' Chapter 6: Believe In Your Power - Passage 11 Overview
Being remembered is something I used to not really value in the slightest. Not that I didnât care what people thought of me, just that I had a lot more of a longevity focused worldview; I just need to get to the next âgoalâ and then I can focus on being calm and kind after.
Yet from other peopleâs perspective, apparently I seem kind. There was specifically a moment recently where I asked a previous professor for a letter of recommendation for a new job, and I eventually had the privilege of reading it.
I wonât share much of it here, but I just was slightly dumbfounded upon reading it and how I was viewed in a sort of abstractâconsidering how much I tried to buckle in and solely complete the coursework and live my life while singularly focused on the end goal.

Discussion 'It's All Love' Chapter 6: Believe In Your Power - Passage 10 Overview
Hype is a funny thing.
Iâm not anywhere near the entertainment industry, like Jenna is, but I am certainly susceptible to falling for the hype of certain events even when I know I should address them with more restraint.
For example, my ârecentâ job was very much upsold to me by the recruiter; to the point that some of my bosses have commented on how it is unfortunate he does that to such an extent, since it leads to high turnovers.
At the same time though I feel like hype can be good even if it goes too far, sometimes it can reach the niche audiences that will appreciate a project regardless of overall structure. Sometimes that can allow people to tell the stories, share the vision, or spread the word about something important to them even if it doesnât have the full capabilities theyâve dreamed of.
