Question Did anyone take a photo of the sky on Sunday the 11th?

This may be a bit of a random post but I don't know where else to ask it. Does anyone have a photo/video of the sky or sunset on Sunday? A family member that was dear to me passed away on that night and the sky was beautiful but I didn't take my own photo. If anyone has anything I would love to remember that day by it please <3

Discussion Update: Adelaide City Council withdraws $342 Robo-Revenue-Raising-AI-Car fine

Post image

Original post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Adelaide/s/9sImn70Yiy

Adelaide City Council robot-parking-fine-camera-revenue-raising-car and I have parted ways.

I sent the council my objection around midnight Friday night, and their stated response time was 4 to 6 weeks. This afternoon they emailed me to say that they had withdrawn the fine. Less than one business day later.

Whilst I'm glad of the outcome, I'm still very annoyed that they didn't back themselves up and justify why the fine was even issued in the first place. I only got out of it because I had a dashcam and I decided to contest it. Plenty of people don't and won't. Imagine all of the fines being paid that shouldn't need to be.

News Illicit tobacco crackdown in SA to boost jail time and landlord liability

In short:

Increased jail time and fines for people involved in the illegal tobacco trade are part of a proposed crackdown in South Australia.

The amendments include a penalty of up to a year in jail for landlords who repeatedly allow tenants to sell illegal tobacco from their premises.

What's next?

The amendments to cigarette and retail laws will go before state parliament this week.

Honestly, can the penalty for landlords be more than a year, as the situation has gotten very bad.

Question Want to get a PLV installed, any plumber recs?

Finally had enough with dealing with water hammer and other issues, and my mains pressure is ... very high. Don't recall the exact number, and I can't seem to find the gauge I bought, but when I last checked it during the day it was significantly above the max expected (so it's probably ridiculous at night). Anyone got any recommendations on a plumber to install a PLV on the outlet from the meter to solve the issue once and for all? NE suburban.

Assistance Special needs homeless woman.

There is an older lady that seemed to have special needs at the W2 stop at king William rd. She isn’t dressed for how cold it is, with no shoes on and looks freezing. I’m not sure what I’m meant to do in the situation and just posting this in case anyone knows better/to raise awareness. I gave her some money to get some food/a warm drink.

If anyone knows how to help in the area that would be great.

Sorry if this is nothing too. Just heart breaking

News UPDATED: Vile abuse claims after embattled CEO suddenly quits - News | InDaily, Inside South Australia

Nicolette Di Lernia has resigned as CEO of the National Trust of South Australia, the heritage watchdog announced this morning, with a national recruitment campaign to begin shortly.

Following the surprise statement this morning, Di Lernia was quizzed at a state government inquiry into the National Trust after being absent from three previous hearings and taking indefinite leave over a reported illness.

She told the inquiry about her restraining order against a volunteer at the beleaguered Moonta branch, claiming she was called a “fat ass slt and a lying b***” after questioning work carried out on a state heritage place without necessary approvals.

This is nasty hope the National Trust of South Australia can recover.

Question Seeking psychiatrist specialising in CPTSD

As the title says, I'm seeking a psychiatrist, not a psychologist, who is experienced in treating CPTSD (I have a referral already).

I'm not fussed about location, just looking for someone really good and really helpful.

Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Where can I get a good combination beef pho in Adelaide? I've had too many that don't quite hit the spot. It must contain beef tendon and tripe, in addition to the usual rare beef, brisket and meatballs. Thanks!
