I've never really watched AEW except one or two shows in the beginning and have always been a WWE fan (not because I believe that we have to pledge our allegiances with a specific company but just because) but I watched the recent All IN and now I'm watching dynamite just to give it a shot AND MAN DID THE NEW LEVEL & SWEVE STRICKLAND VS THE RASCALZ IMPRESS ME. SUCH GREAT WRESTLING, AMAZING COORDINATION, CREZI ASS MOVES, IM GENUINELY SO IMPRESSED. I just wanna know, is AEW always this fun to watch? Or will I get bored after a while? Also, I'm someone who LOVES the story telling aspect of wrestling that's why I like WWE, but what's the situation here? Even tho I love will osprey in the ring, I found his promo this episode a bit cringe. Maybe it's my first time watching? That's why? Idk. But yea, lmk guys is AEW always this fun?

Thinking about today's news about the Mad Dragon and the potential debuts of Kofi & Creed, the Pirate Princess, Pam Rose and Leon Slater that could happen in the final third of 2026 made me reflect on all the talents AEW has lost over the past 7 years, which inspired me to make this post.

Note: this is only about wrestlers whose contracts expired, have been let go from their contracts due to COVID or asked for their release which has been granted. Let's not bring up The Exalted One here.

So got back into wrestling about 18 months ago and AEW specifically about 8 months ago. This is the first ppv/ppe that I’ve sprung for that isn’t WWE (it’s free on Netflix) I knew that it was going to be a banger but I am shocked that it has literally just been match after match after match. Each match has been 15/ 20 minutes plus and there had been almost no filler Inbetween. Is it always like this? Possibly the best £14.99 I’ve ever spent!

Aaaha!!

Thoughts? As someone who been in favor of this choice from day one (and also as someone who doesn't need to constantly see a belt to understand someone being a champion) I agree it certainly feels like getting the World title out of that briefcase has fans chomping at the bit.

I think it is

Man I wonder where we would be if that jump didn’t happen.

I do..

Probably my favorite set of photos that I've taken so far, and that's not an easy thing to pick. What do you think? Who should I do something like this with next?

Fantastic show but interms of wrestling as a community this show is a complete momentum shift. I am seeing known AEW haters like Internjon marking out over Double or Nothing. That crowd, the matches, the wrestlers, the feeling is back! AEW has the momentum, they gotta stay within themselves and run with it.

I have already listened to the theme songs for MJF, Ospreay, Fletcher, Daniel Garcia, Thekla, Athena, Mercedes, Adam Page, Mariah May, Hangman, Mina, Willow, Darby and Toni Storm. I think they are all bangers and I wanna know what are like the must hear theme songs.

Honest question, have you guys never worked in a corporate setting? Have you ever sat through those annoying H.R training, that goes over a hostile work environment?

Even if you hate the elite, or everyone else on the roster. The fact that some of you are acting as if Tony is wrong, is wild. Punk was most likely an actual employee of Aew. Multiple wrestlers are employees, such as the bucks/omega, qt, Daniels. This allows them to get benefits for working there, versus the rest who are 1099'd.

Even if we push aside "brawl out" for a second. We have seen the stories about him getting up in the face of Nemeth. And he attacked Perry, which this firing made very clear. If Tony didn't fire punk, then he's leaving Aew open to a huge lawsuit when it comes to harassment and a hostile work environment. And it wouldn't even have to come from someone punk had a fight with. It could just be a bystander who claims they're scared at work, due to an employee constantly threatening others.

There's no way the return on punk would be worth that litigation.

How do you like Lio Rush's "Blackheart" gimmick? Personally, I love it and I would like it if AEW pushed Lio.

Not talking finishers. For example, Penta’s slingblade makes that move look amazing. Okada’s drop kick, Beast Mortos’ Samoan Drop, a Roderick Strong dragon screw, Toni Storm Mongolian chops.

Wrestling has always had nicknames for some of their wrestlers, such as the Texas Rattlesnake for Stone Cold Steve Austin or The Cerebral Assassin for HHH, but who in AEW has the best nickname?

I personally love “The Problem” for Marina Shafir.

My theory is a ex TNA executive currently in a non stop crash out who decided to Infantize Riho. Hide behind there advocacy for women but not all

I am trying to make a youtube video on "Funniest AEW Moments" and i need your help.

Recently Justin roberts calling kommander, Mistico was a funny moment. What other moments do you remember that I should add in the video?

just Wondering, very excited

Specifically, please sound off if you have or know others who have.

In regards to AEW's alleged dip in viewership, I have to imagine a lot of people, especially younger audience members are watching AEW on Max for the convenience and typically cheaper price. I also can't imagine TBS/TNT as a platform really helps AEW. I imagine it is more the other way around. Worth noting that HBO reaches nearly twice the potential audience numbers and we can see that it has garnered AEW a ton of new fans.

Edit: Well based on this sample size it is obvious why AEW has "declining rating". It has more viewers than ever but so many oldee fans have switched to HBO MAX for quality, pricing, and convenience.
