You Reddit autists were right. Just picked up my RCD Core today, and holy shit, the fit and finish on this thing is insane, especially at this price point. Pictures honestly don’t do it justice.

Hoping to make it out to the range tomorrow to put some rounds through it. I’ll report back with my thoughts once I’ve had some trigger time.

Trigger pull is right below 3LB. My Staccato P in the picture breaks under 2LB, but the Core trigger just feels more premium to me.

I like it for the price I got it but at the retail price I’d definitely go with an atlas grip.

Is there any better way to blow off some steam after a long day at work?

This thing is exceptionally stunning and the V10 ports with the comp are *chefs kiss*.

I hate the direct optic mount, though. The screw choice was questionable at best.

Im on a quest to find the softest shooting 2011s and wanted to hear people’s hands on experiences. Now i now recoil and “flatness” is subjective and vary based on hand placement as well as other factors, but I’m just looking for a general consensus. Im looking at something sub $4000. Anything helps!

Does anyone know if I can change the parts out on a masterpiece arms? Would the infinity screws fit on the MPA ds9? I just got the commander and would like to put a pinch of color on it but want to make sure before I spend the money.

Traded my Glock45Gen6 for it. Already have a Sig P211 GTO and a Platypus but felt I need to snag this one based of many positive reviews.

Picked up a United Gunwork Phantom. 3.8 inch ported carry gun. Put 50 rounds through it with just the front sight and was just getting a feel for it. Will go again tomorrow with proper sights and will compare it to my Bul edc pro and my Atlas Eos. Definitely smaller than the Eos. I am aware that the light is part of it. More to come

If you ordered a gun based on the sales picture (pic 1) and received the second gun (pic 2) what would you do?

I’ve owned the EOS and Erebus and spent plenty of time behind the Athena, but the Nyx doesn’t seem to get much love.

Great trigger, smooth slide, and a setup I really like: a 4.25-inch non-ported Commander with the full-size Alpha grip. I like the shorties, but I still want a full grip in my hands.

It’s well balanced, returns to zero nicely, and is just fun to shoot. With softer competition ammo, I enjoy it every bit as much as some of the ported models.

A friend and I ran it alongside some serious heavy hitters, and we kept coming back to it.

The Athena and Titan get plenty of attention, but the Nyx deserves some love too.

2011 prices are all dumb, and retail on this one is no exception BUT you can find deals on the used market.

So NYX owners, what do you think? Love it? Hate it? Carry it? Are there other 4.25s that you guys prefer over this one?

Just bought an HD P4.5 and am trying to get some dry fire in. When I put my thumb on top of the safety it feels uncomfortable and somewhat stabs the webbing. From what I understand the 4.5 fixed the safety hotspot issue the P4 had so I don’t think it’s the gun. I’ve also noticed it on other 2011s.

Is this something to just get used to? Should I adjust my grip further around to make it more comfortable?

The Infinity grip feels amazing and the trigger is the best I have. Not as soft as the XC obviously, but the P shot a ragged hole at 15yds. The ergonomics of the grip and trigger feel cannot be overstated. This thing is fast and accurate. Also, all trigger manufacturers need to put knurling on the trigger face. Cough… cough… Atlas.

Wanted to share my Apollo 11 that just got ported. Looking at mostly negative reviews of this gun, feeling like I won lottery because it runs flawless 😅

I grabbed this used P Heritage from Cabela’s used site - I was hoping to get more information on it since the store couldn’t tell me much. I have seen it posted on here but the shop that did the work isn’t returning my request for info. I was thinking maybe the previous owner is on here somewhere. Looking forward to getting a heritage back in my hands!!

Better fit and finish, Reaper blows the MPA away. The dlc, the slide to frame, no question, this the next level. Barrel fit, reliability, accuracy. Equal. Shooting experiance, the MPA if you want a smoother ride and a more refined experiance. Reaper if you want a true muscle car experience with no seat belts. So in the end, it’s all about what are you looking to get out if the ride and how much you’re willing to spend. Neither of these will be on bring a trailer anytime soon.

I want to step up to a 2011 but have carried Glock 17rd mags for many years. Other than the Staccato P4X, what 2011s would you recommend that are compatible with my Glock magazines?

Hey guys, just wanted to see if I can get some input from shooters who have both or who had both to see if it’s worth trading/selling my XC for an Athena? The XC was my first 2011 and it’s what got me into 2011’s from the get but after receiving my Erebus 2 weeks ago, the fit, finish, quality and the way my Erebus shoots compared to my XC is almost night and day different… I know I may have pretty much answered my own question here, but I would still like to hear some opinions. Having 2 comp’d 2011 probably doesn’t make sense and I’ve heard nothing but good stuff about the Athena… I’ve been eyeing the Miller Ranger 9 as well. Thank you guys in advance
