IOI have a great record of listening to players as far as I'm concerned. They're reasonably active on the Hitman sub, as regards fixing bugs when people post about them.
(Also, there was a meme where some dude asked about why there aren't "More Coherent Masculine suits" for 47. Everybody clowned on him for like a month, then shortly after that the Milla Jovovich DLC released, and there's some incidental dialogue you can overhear of a guy talking about how "Coherent and Masculine" his suit is 😂😂. Which was a very clear nod that someone at IO monitors the subreddit, and got the designers to drop a little Easter Egg in)

IO have done this for years. When Hitman was episodic, every new mission released had dialogue based on community reaction to earlier content. I love it.

So far only played through the campaign once, enjoyed it a lot but uninstalled afterwards.

there is a bug if you get detected on the jungle heist before opening the safe - if it goes license to kill you cannot open the safe. otherwise great tacsim mission

Yeah I need to play Control Resonant. Btw, if you like action RPG’s, you should definitely play: Blood of Dawnwalker - it’s awesome.
It’s like a smaller scale Witcher 3 (same writer & project lead), but with vampires.

Not that I think it would be a major change for the gameplay but they did actually tease future titles in this series taking place in different eras and the 1st era they teased was a modern day vampire game. Imagine a medieval vampire but now he's a wearing a Cyberpunk-esque jacket, getting blood doordashed to himself, and fighting an enemy that could almost be from control lol.

It really isn't. I can deal with updates for games, but I want that base game on the disc. It's just ironic for you to be so eager to cheerlead how IOI are just better than everyone else, but they still shipped a physical release with nothing but the opening mission on disc and all you can say is "who cares anyway?". Dude, please.

Read the case, files, and watch the videos!! It added a bit more depth to the game. Some people I saw playing didnt even bother to read the cases/documents, and somehow claimed its 9/10. When they summarized on why its 9/10 or 10/10, some of key points they described were wrong or misinformed.
The game, for me, it reached 10 mark when you finally feel rewarded bsc when you connect all the lores, files,vdieos itno the quests, you'll get oh thats why

I enjoy reading the case files and watching the videos. One document I found had an FBC employee note complaining on who and why they are redacting documents that don't need redacting 🤣 It's also good to revisit certain areas as you progress through the story and side missions as new case files and documents pop up.

Is there any reason how there is nearly zero HUD options in 007, while your previous game HITMAN is one of the most customizable in terms of interface among the whole game industry? Not trying to hate, just genuinely curious!

Hitman WOA has been out for what... 10 years now? There's been so many things added over the years :) I can't remember which HUD options we had day 1 for WOA, but remember we've been crafting on that game for a decade

Thanks for answering! Yeah i got it, WoA is a service and was getting better every year, but any other modern game even single player ones have at least some basic HUD options like turning off some elements (mission objectives, 3d markers, crosshairs etc) while 007 got none (apart of subtitle settings). Some modders already made mods to make the HUD more minimalistic. Anyway im looking forward to official options in future updates.

I understand and it's not because it's not something on our mind. But at the end of the day, game development has a lot of choices to make with deadlines and only a certain amount of people and resources. So for now, it wasn't a priority for launch compared to other things we had on our list, but it's definitely not forgotten - we will keep cooking

Thank you guys! Been waiting to do my second playthrough of the campaign. Am I missing something for New Game+ though? I loaded up my completed save, and even went through the end credits. But I'm not seeing an option for it in the main menu.

I have less than zero interest in trial-and-error timed missions to place on leaderboards, but appreciate photo mode, new game+ and fixes.

This has actually caused a problem for me on Xbox….on the main menu, tacsim is locked saying content not owned and it has a link to purchase the game….i’ve owned the game since launch….is this because I claimed the digital licence yesterday? I’ve tried it with the disc in as well and I get the same thing

im sorry, i literally stopped playing this game as soon as i realized i couldnt tweak hud elements or even disable aim assist. its incredibly wonky and as someone who plays shooters, it feels cheap. i bought this game day one but as good as the game feels, the aim assist is too strong and on hardest difficulty, it feels too easy

A lot of great content. Nice to have an easily replayable slice of the best mission in the game (also nice to give a tux to players who didn't get the specialist edition. RIP anyone who spent crazy money on the Observant Spy Coca Cola outfit)
Valhalla is what I've been really wanting though. I hope future updates let us play with the other vehicles too. Glad to finally be able to open her up. (Still think the game should have ended with a car chase instead of the donut sequence but the ovreally quality of the game is so high I can't really be mad)

This is so much more than expected for one update!
I do wish there was a clear list somewhere in the game that told you what suits were unlocked by what criteria. Maybe in the customisation menu? (I know you can check some in the campaign challenge menus and some in tacsim, but a centralised list would be good).
Don't get me wrong, it's nice checking in after an update and seeing most of the new suits immediately unlocked but it would be nice to know why just out of curiosity haha
Also see that one of the new locked suits is a recreation of a Brosnan outfit. This is good. Looking forward to more movie reference suits. (Also are there now two identical golden tuxedo's but just with different names?)

I love everything here. I still have two humble requests.
I'm not very far in the game. I'm still hoping to be able to natively disable HUD elements, and have characters not frequently mention where need to go or what I should be doing. I just found a mod for this but it's definitely something I want for my first-time playing.
I'm on PC and want to use a controller with gyro functionality like the Dualsense or Steam Controller, especially for shooting. Through steam I can enable gyro for mouse movement, which moves well but then my button prompts switch to keyboard buttons during a fight and I don't know what I'm doing. Or if I use the gyro to simulate the right stick camera movement, the button prompts don't change but camera control is very rigid, feeling I can only move it in one of 8 directions no matter what sliders I adjust in-game or through Steam. Please add native gyro input or allow for forced button prompts on PC so I use mouse movement with controller prompts.

People think they want linear but linear is too linear and this game plus Wolverine proves it.
There's no replayability with linear games. Very narrow levels and storyline. Maybe thats why people like it because their narrow headed people

I played the game in May and enjoyed it but as someone who isn’t a gamer, it took me hours to feel even a little comfortable with all the button combinations and things to remember. Haven’t played it since then and trying this dlc I had to shut it off. Don’t have the patience to relearn how to play the game again
