It would appear that in order to unlock a coupon I have to make multiple purchases? And then presumably make subsequent purchases if I want to use the coupon again the next week? 🙄

Looking to see if anyone else has heard this. These employees know me from coming here so often (lol) but its genuinely my favorite quick coffee fix. She said it was only the chocolate flavor tho. Which is a bummer for me because I hate caramel and just prefer chocolate flavor over vanilla for coffee.

The person who took my cash money and handed me cash change with
their gloves on then went and assembled one of these burgers with the same gloves. Their response was to push the bag closer to me. Asked for a manager and they remade the burger in question but never apologized for what happened. They were annoyed at me for calling them out on this poor food handling situation and I expect they will get their revenge on me next week.

I love the Wendy’s sausage patties for breakfasts. Is there any way I can get a bunch of them without having to buy the rest of the sandwich?? Or does anyone know any store dupes? Please

Well I just moved to Brisbane and we have a Wendy's! I didn't know Australia had Wendy's. I got excited. But no idea what to order. Aside from "try everything" what's your faves?
Never had a frosty so definitely adding that. We may have a smaller menu, but what do you reckon, stry a classic beef burger? Chicken? Baconmater? (Is that Aussie version of Baconator? lol)
Chili fries? (what is that...)
Anyway thanks, might seem a dumb q but I think we all get excited about overseas food chains, it feels like we're sharing part of something from far away haha. Thanks guys <3

This was after I pulled out every fry that fell in the bag too. Every single time I go to this Wendy's they screw up my order, and same with anyone I know who goes there. Fries always half empty or cold, wrong sandwiches, etc. This place needs some attention from the higher ups cuz for the price im paying for a Dave's Double meal, this is crazy.

The legal feud between Wendy’s and one of its largest franchisees got particularly frosty this week after the fast food giant tried to intervene in a round of store closures that are planned for this weekend.
Meritage Hospitality Group, a franchisee that filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last month, is in the process of closing at least 30 locations, roughly 10% of its sprawling fleet of 314 Wendy’s restaurants.
After shutting down 10 restaurants over the last two weekends, the franchisee has slated another 10 stores to be closed today, court documents reveal.
But The Wendy’s Company is not happy with the stores that are being marked for closure, lawyers for the burger giant told the court this week.
Wendy’s had intervened to save the following seven stores:
In addition to those seven stores, three additional Oklahoma restaurants are also slated for closure, but Wendy’s did not dispute the closure of those locations.
The stores appeared to still be open as of early Friday, though employees reached by phone declined to comment.

These are the fries I got with my burger for lunch. What a sad excuse, there is no fry bigger than 3” long. 😕

I just wanted to say that I just had a bacon cheeseburger, fries, and frosty at the airport in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic as I was leaving from vacation.
I must say, it was the tastiest meal I have had from Wendy’s in more than 10 years. Piping hot crispy perfectly salted fries. Perfectly cooked crispy bacon. Lettuce, tomato, and onion were all very fresh. And they subbed a frosty for a soda (at no extra charge).
It reminds me of what Wendy’s used to taste like 15-20 years ago. I couldn’t help but conclude that the food nowadays isn’t bad because I’ve gotten older or my taste buds changed. It’s because they aren’t actually trying in the United States to serve high quality food. And now I kind of feel insulted by the quality of the food that they have been giving us in the United States. They could do better, they just don’t care about the customer’s experience. Shame on you Wendy’s!

For the last week or so every Wendy’s in my area is not serving them anymore!! Are they getting rid of the energy drink?

Went tonight as a family because we were out and needed something quick. I implored my wife not to go to Wendy’s but she talked me into it. A couple sandwiches in my order, as is ALWAYS the case, were made incorrectly. I volunteered to take them to the counter while the family ate. After a few back and forth attempts at the counter to resolve, they handed me back two new sandwiches. Got back to my table, realized one (mine) was still wrong, and my fries and nuggs were now ice cold. I threw my food out and deleted the app. I will never eat at Wendy’s again. We’re just one family out of millions of customers, so they won’t miss the revenue, but I can’t do that to myself again. What’s worse is that I knew better.
I don’t know that I’ve ever been to a common chain where I’ve said I will definitely never eat here again, but Wendy’s (at least by me) is THAT bad…

Wendy's has an online survey system. On your receipt there is a store number and the name of your cashier.
Take that to wendyswantstoknow.com and tell someone who can actually affect change in your store instead of wasting your time diving headfirst off of this sewage waterfall over and over again for your handful of useless "pick me" points.
OR
Recognize that anyone who runs a Wendy's or who can actually make changes for you is looking at your post, rolling their eyes, and assuming you're just lying for karma, because reddit!
puts down megaphone and runs away

200 points this morning on the Wendy’s mobile app, I came here a lot when I went to Trenton State College between 1980 to 1984 for broadcasting, this time I order on the mobile app on the way.
What a difference 42 years makes.

Wendy's burgers are obviously a shell of what they once were. But their business model of "fresh, never frozen" had to be absolutely killing their operators. They obviously have other major execution issues, but the cost of raw ingredients is just compounding their issues.
Fresh ground beef prices are up somewhere close to 20% in just the last year. Ground beef costs about 350% more than it did 20 years ago. And while prices have gone up, they are not 3.5x what they were 20 years ago. I remember paying $5-7 for a quality combo meal in the mid 2000s. Should we be paying $15-20 now, if expecting the same quality?
A Big Bacon Classic was my go to in the 2000s... I know it was about $6 for a combo. I just looked and today it's $10.39. The margins would be non existent if they put out the same quality as the old days.
I feel like all legacy fast food has gotten pretty bad, some worse than others. Exceptions around me is Chick-fil-A (which has somehow gotten better over the decades), and Culver's which has maintained very steady. Most others are mid to downright nasty (food and stores). I think this is really just a change in the economics of running a business based upon many selling beef, and not being willing (or able) to pass along the input costs to customers.
