NB - I’m not looking to sell here, this is purely just to gauge whether I qualify as a “professionally painted miniature”

Brothers, I’m thinking of listing some minis on eBay. If the response is good, I might make it a little side-project.

I ain’t gonna ask the classic “how much is XYZ worth”, but I would like to know whether you think I’ve got the chops to be selling on eBay as a professional painter?

Hi all! I’ve been working on a bunch of new art recently for my portfolio and much of it has been Warhammer. I’m a huge fan of the setting and after reading the Horus Heresy I thought it would be cool to do some art of the Great Crusade.

I love the Imperial Fists and their yellow armor is always so striking, so I chose them. For this piece I wanted to showcase them similar to a remembrancer might, all the glory and none of the ugliness, like a propaganda poster. I spent a long time on all the little details and weapons here, I hope you like it!

What would the possible consequences and losses be for the imperium, chaos, tyranids, and other factions consist of if something like the necrons managed to close or destroy the warp permanently?

I already know this would make any kind of warp travel impossible and most star systems will become stranded an inaccessible.

Heres where it could be different. For the chaps gods, they almost entirely rely on the warp for daemons to enter realspace. Without that, what would happen?

Psykers would also become completely useless or they could even just die instantly. This would lay waste to the grey knights as they are all psykers(from my memory).

On the topic of psykers, tyranids could also be devastated because they use warp space as their synaptic connection(i think). So would they lose most of their strategy? Would they die?

Im curious on your opinions. Im not crazy knowledgable so dont kill me because im not an expert on lore.

Opening the box and feeling that perfect, crisp resistance of the lid was so satisfying. I pulled Brother Phaello—the exact model printed on the back of the box as an example. It really brings back memories.

Got into warhammer 40k as a hobby other than mtg. Fell in love with black templar and just getting into the game (noob painter but im trying to learn).

I regret not getting into this earlier in my life as im enjoying collecting these guys... havent played a game yet but i'm having a blast, figured id share hype.

I have been a 40k fanboy since I was 10 years old. For more than a decade I have been fully bought into the lore and the models and have multiple armies.

Then on a whim, I tried out Bolt Action.

And I don't think I can manage playing another game of 40k. Waiting around 40 minutes and watching all the guys I lovingly painted just getting obliterated by someone who is ready to sue me over rules is just not fun any more.

If 40k used random activations it would be so much better. Why didn't 11th update the rules to that? It's such a simple fix for something that is so egregious in the gameplay.

Really enjoyed the whole process on this one!

I've picked up the Slaves to Darkness Spearhead from the AoS magazine and figured I'd use them to test out a new crimson scheme for my Word Bearers that I saw on Grimdark Compendium.

Seems to have come out alright.

Now I can finally play more than the tutorial mission
