The ps1 is 32 years old. You were 5 when it came out. The original Nes came out 5 years before you were born, and the original Gameboy the year you were born.
Hate to tell you buddy, you were a part of the ps1 and ps2 generation
yeah, the NES was my dad's but he never really played it, and it was kinda treated as a family electronic like the VCR and my parents only let us use it sometimes since it was on the family tv. The first console that was "for the kids" in my house was the ps1 (we skipped over the snes), and we got a separate garage sale tv for it in another room.
Ok? Thank you for that information but I'm not sure what that's got to do with my comment, that you're replying to? Unless maybe you thought you were replying to something else? Sorry if I'm being obtuse but it confused me to receive a reply about the release date of the Atari 2600.
You said home gaming started with Tetris handheld in 89. Gave me impression that you mean there were no consoles prior to that. I apologise if I missunderstood.
Oh, I see buddy. What I meant was that my personal experience with gaming first began with an off brand tetris handheld. Sorry for the unclear nature of my original comments. Thanks for replying with good grace.
