Discussion / Question What game is this for you?

Honestly for me it's Life is Strange: True Colors. Love that game to death, an incredible story and soundtrack, but it seems like a story that just doesn't vibe well with a lot of people. Listen to the soundtrack though, absolutely increible.

Deadly Preminition. I can't really put into words why I like it so much because it's weirdly-designed, it's janky, there's pretty long stretches of just driving around and not much else, but it's weird in a way that feels natural and not like they were trying to make it weird. Also Francis York Morgan is a legend.

It's definitely not for everyone but plenty of people love it so it definitely appealed to a specific demographic (Twin Peaks fans, for one).

This is maybe the perfect game for this post and i'm so sad I didn't think of it. Adore that game but it's never getting recommended to anyone, ever.

The lets play by supergreatfriend basically distills everything about Deadly Premonition down into a presentable form that actually makes sense, goes into detail about the obscure b-movies York likes talking about during the grindier parts, and does a better job at presenting the story than the actual game (namely because it intentionally hides things that spoil plot points before they happen).

I love that game and most of what SWERY makes, but I HATED the second game. Something about it just brought me down. It was alright up until that ending which just pissed all over it.

The music in the cutscenes being loud as fuck always made me laugh, love the game though. One of a kind.

This game is a terribly flawed masterpiece. 10/10 game for those that can appreciate it. Absolute garbage to the rest.

It really has a Big place in my Heart for its weirdness. But damn was it a piece of shit. On PC it was unplayable without Mods because the controls didnt even work sometimes.
