Ukraine did the world a real favour. And timed their attack during the final days of the midterm election campaigning in the US.

It might not be a coincidence. The outcome of the midterms could have a large impact on the outcome of the war. And we know which side Russia wants to win.

Also the Alberta referendum in Canada, there’s a large Ukrainian population in the prairies

and the Brazil runoff election, I'm really hoping this helps them too...

Definitely smart strategic timing. They are assuming it will take Russia too much time to rebuild their influence operations before these three decisive votes.

This has nothing to do with the midterms. Striking data centers seems to have been a red line Russia and Ukraine agreed to as neither side attacked the other's infrastructure for years. Then, from September 23 onward, Russia crossed that red line and began targeting Ukrainian infrastructure and now Ukraine is responding likewise.

Forget how Americans seem to be divided rather strongly into Democrats and Republicans, apparently they can change their opinion drastically after reading a few bot posts.

And I like how there are, apparently, and objectively good and objectively bad party. Why not install the good party forever and call it a day? No need to fear about evil Russians anymore, apparently.
