They just HAVE to destroy fucking everything dont they. Millions of square miles of land in this country but no, they absolutely HAVE to build where a grove of near-extinct trees stand. Fuck these monsters.

It's because WV is District 12 and we constantly vote in ghouls to keep it that way.

Lol. They literally tried to build in the middle of the desert and there was still complaining.

Building notoriously water-hungry industrial sites in places famous for not having water ain't it either. It's almost like this concept of "carrying capacity" exists and exceeding that capacity causes Not Good Things to happen. So maybe we should try not exceeding that

There is no evidence that data centers are actually "water-hungry".

exactly how flat do you think the earth is?

Lol. Look if you want to believe nonsense that's your job. I believe actual research and you will not find one real study that shows that data centers are quote unquote water hungry. You will find sensationalist articles that somehow pretend that water disappears if it's used for cooling. But not one study that says the water is being actually removed from any existing flow.

oh wait are you actually serious?

I legitimately thought you were trolling because that was such an obviously incorrect thing considering the majority of data centers leverage evaporate cooling and there are literally hundreds of reputable and verified reports from a plethora or agencies that talk about it.

Apparently you're too lazy to do the work of finding information? that's probably why you believe something so dumb.

here's one to get you started.

I didn't say data centers don't use water. I disagree with your claim that they are "water hungry".  How does the article you picked prove that? It literally says Pepsi uses more water than data centers. Do you call Pepsi  water hungry? Paper uses double the water of data centers, is the paper industry water hungry?
