In light of a certain thread on a sub that will go unnamed :P

These panels are from X-treme X-Men. I know that Storm also did something similar to this in the Krakoa era (I think after fighting Tarn for the first time) and she did something ike this in an early 2000s comic.

Can you help me find more panels like these, I love them!!!

I'm just tired that in basically every fight she just uses lighting and ice, look on how Aero uses her powers and how good they look, air weapons, clones of her and other character, Ororo should be doing this and so much more

I’ve never seen a fandom hate a character of their own so much. I could make some inferences of the irony of a powerful Black character who is in a series about marginalized people getting trashed by its readers, but I won’t.

4 posts in 4 hrs ragebaiting people into hating Storm. Some loser with 4 different bot accounts is taking out of context panels and feats, posting around to ragebait people into saying "she's overrated", "undeserving" etc.

As usual they're all eating up and saying how much they dislike her. Its so insane how literally every and any X character can get a temporary power boost. But let Storm have one and all hell breaks loose. Let Storm beat her an opponent via experience and its bullshit.

Theyre crying she beat Cyclops even though she had an Eternity amp. Mind you this woman beat Cyclops whilst she was powerless lmao.

Same artist is doing a commission for me to go with a fanfic of mine and I'm sitting on my hands to keep from posting the line art. It's soooooo gorgeous!

There's been a few attempts (and retcons) over the decades to make Storm's ruby special outside of just being the last remains she has of her mother. The most recent (if you can call 20 years recent) canon is that the Ruby is a part of a group of gems called the Madripoor Set: when all of these gems are gathered, are they can open an extradimensional portal the same size of their namesake island. Before the Madripoor set were gathered again in X-treme X-Men, they were used around the Fall of Atlantis and might have something to do with that.

It's also recently been revealed that that Storm's ruby can open portals without the other gems present, and that Ayesha of Balobedu (the first person to own the ruby) was also connected to the fall of Atlantis. Hmmmmmmmmmm...

But back to the big question, do you like the idea of the ruby being more than just an accessory?

Theory: The events of CC Uncanny X-Men 159 happened, but instead of Storm using her willpower to resist Dracula and rejoin the X-Men, she overpowered and killed Dracula to become the Queen of all Vampires. This change of events gave Ororo a new perspective where she envisioned world peace underneath her rule, where mutants live forever because they are all vampires. She then immediately started turning the other X-Men into vampires, Cyclops and Nightcrawler narrowly escaping the future Ororo designed for them.

Of course, the non-mutant vampires didn't like the idea of a mutant ruling over them so they would end up rebelling against her, and likewise Magneto would see Ororo and her empyres as an existential threat to mutants everywhere. This would lead to a three-way conflict between the Empyres led by Storm, the mutants led by Magneto, and the vampires led by the old head vampires not named Dracula. This three-way conflict would then lead to the cold war and "the peace must hold", but Ororo of course will not stop until she achieves her dream of Empyre supremacy...

Someone explain to me how Iron Man, a man in a metal suit defeats a goddess lol, I had someone tell me, that Iron Man has a suit that lets him warp reality on a cosmic scale and that he’s beat people more powerful than storm…. Is that true? Looking at the results, this feels racist.

If we both were serious about fighting each other do you think Storm would come up top?

“Then I’ll fight you to the end”
