Just adopted this little guy!

The shelter said he’s a Snowshoe. Named him Skelli because of his nose (Looks like a skull). After looking through the group at all of the toasting photos I’m thinking he may not always have that look. Should I rename him? 🤣

Got her a few days ago, she’s sooooo hyper all the time, a pure menace. I love her so much. Would love a unique name, preferably not English/French/Japanese because they’re a bit too cliché for cats. 2 syllables please

My favorite way of taking pictures of our cats is using wide angle and getting as close as I can to their faces

Hi! I’m looking to see if anyone here adopted Freya, the kitty pictured first, who is the sister of my boy Poe (The Kung Fu Kitty), pictured second. Poe was very sick when I got him, and I’m hoping Freya didn’t also have the illness he had. There are some lingering health effects that still need to be monitored, but he is a happy healthy boy almost 2 years later.

They came from Kitty Revolution in Minnesota.

The foster said the family who adopted her never responded to the email with an update, and I was hoping to exchange some photos with them. 🫰🏼🫰🏼🫰🏼

After more than a year of slowly making friends with this cat that appeared in our yard near the woods, I trapped him on Thursday and had him neutered. He has taken to the indoor life like I just can’t believe and I think he will be staying with us ❤️

She's been in this world for 4 months, and she's mastered the art of relaxation. I've never been jealous of a cat until now.

Although before her naps, she does go full-speed mental! lol

Our little buddy is getting stripes around his tail and legs. But also getting dots on his sides. Also I have noticed that he looks beige in some lights and a cool toned grey in another light.

seal point Potentially adopting stray Siamese, advice to do before and making feel home

As the title says it, I am potentially adopting a Siamese. She is from another country. It started with my parents living there and help feeding street cats that are in need of food. They feed at least 100 colonies in the area. They also rescue the ones with injuries and bring them to shelter. One of them is a Siamese and I have always wanted one.

I would like to have one but want to know a few things.

She is about a year old. If I decide to adopt her, she will first stay with my parents for a month and half, their place is an open villa with a large space. I will also visit her for a week.

Once she is here with me, in my house, how do I make sure she feels safe with me, as she might not be used to people or being inside.

How do I train her where she can do her business?

How long can I leave her if I am going to work , after one week being home with her? How normal is it with fur turning fully dark? Is that good or bad

What do i need to know ?
