Ozzy has finally caught me and I cannot escape from beneath his six pounds of fluff. He's starting with the fingers and will work his way up. Farewell pom community 😭 May this be a warning to those of you harboring these tiny yet vicious predators!

(Fyi, Ozzy is extremely gentle when he "chews" our fingers. He knows he's not supposed to bite but he clearly just can't resist gnawing on us a little 😂)

Aloha! I am going to foster-to-adopt this little angel from the local shelter and they say she’s a Pomeranian. It obviously totally doesn’t matter to me at all - I love her so much already!! Just curious. I can always do the Embark test or whatever, but I’m wondering what you pros think! It doesn’t seem like she has the fluffy undercoat, but who knows if she’s been shaved down or something. I don’t know her past. Also, she’s almost 12lbs. What do you think?

Does anyone else's pom try to sneak up on them/stalk then like prey? 🤣 Ozzy does it all the time but it's so hard to catch on video. Right before this video starts, I saw movement from the corner of my eye, and saw Ozzy tiptoing toward me from around the doorway, slower than he was in the video, but this was as much as I was able to capture. And he always does it with a toy in his mouth 😂 so anyway, is it just a matter of time before I become dinner? How many of you think your days are also numbered?

My worst nightmare happened on a walk tonight: my 7 lb Pom just escaped from her harness even though it was securely fastened. I have no clue how but she got out & took off running thankfully right into our yard, but I’m terrified it’ll happen at the park or anywhere else. She goes on 2 walks a day so we need a good harness and I also need something I can order on Amazon to get fast delivery, please. I appreciate your suggestions!

As you can see he HATES being dressed up (can't wait to get him a sister to dress up😁) so this is the one time a year I allow myself to dress him up and I want to go all out! Please show me your pics for inspo!

Went to get her in NB on friday-saturday.
First night went great, she slept in my bed and big sis Lady let me know when baby needed to pee.
She had a bath, wasn’t too pleased, but she forgave me as soon as she was dry 😋
She’s eating, playing, munching on shoelaces, pants, toes… everything is as it should be 😂

Hello all! This is such a beautiful community that has been so so helpful and supportive after losing my soul dog four months ago. He was 12 and had some health issues we had under control, left an appointment where the neurologist said “he’s a big strong boy and will be around for a while” and was gone from hemangiosarcoma two months later. It’s been a very hard time in our household since. We have another Pom the same age who was very attached to him so he has been grieving as well alongside us. I think he’s reached a point where he has come to terms with his brother not being here any longer. He is such a lovely babydoll, he does have some health issues though. My question after this vent is have any of you been through similar and I am wondering about adopting so he has a friend here? I feel if we wait too long then it’s not going to be a good idea if he gets much older. I want him to stay active and have a friend but am unsure what to do. I know some of you have unfortunately been through very similar losses and will no doubt be able to provide me some advice or anecdotes if you can. Thanks so much for anyone that can comment or reach out. I appreciate this community, it has helped me survive this horrific loss. I don’t know where I would be without you all and the pet loss subs. Thank you so much.
