Just like a rapist

u/No_Cucumber3978 8h ago

He is talking to her like an abusive parent/adult talks to a kid.

22

u/RIForDIE 8h ago

Dude no shit. He's increasingly unhinged with his lurching and combative arguing. He's pissed that he even has to explain/be confronted with these things.

13

u/No_Cucumber3978 8h ago

"Quiet Piggy!" Trump, 2024/25.

10

u/TiePrestigious7265 8h ago

Just imagine what his wife and kids have been going through all these years.

6

u/jmd709 8h ago

Some of them seem good at ignoring him. Does Melania still live in NYC?

7

u/No_Cucumber3978 8h ago

Or, whoever he is accused of doing whatever.

Guy really needs to lose the midterms. It's only going to get worse otherwise.

Wives…kids…women he might have raped, women he screwed that were willing and the ones that were not willing…. In addition to being an incompetent fuck up he has pretty much lost what ever bit of control he has.  But his base would love to pay $20 a gallon for diesel than a 1/4 of that from a Democrat.

2

u/Douglas1994 6h ago

They're thinking of the $$$ at the end of it all.

2

u/Hopsblues 6h ago

Ask Ivana

1

u/TiePrestigious7265 6h ago

Wasn't even thinking about that one. But oh yeah!

1

u/homer_lives 5h ago

His wife and kids have bought the shtick. His current wife was an Epstein women. She knew what she was getting in bed with. His children are His primary enablers and cheerleaders

an abusive parent/adult talks to a kid.

More like a rich asshole talking to a servant.
Trump is a spoiled rich guy who never had to answer for any failing, never had to admit being wrong, etc., etc.

2

u/No_Cucumber3978 5h ago

I get you man, I really do.

But I prefer the subtext of him be...

Well, yeah. Let's leave it there.

2

u/homer_lives 5h ago

"When your famous, they let you do anything..."

The concept of consent.

40

u/Informal-Pop7901 8h ago

He thinks dealing with Iran is like dealing with a concrete contractor from Kanarese.

10

u/AnyAnimal1673 8h ago

Canarsie ?

1

u/SuitableBlackberry75 1h ago

Kanaris? 🇬🇷

3

u/TiePrestigious7265 7h ago

He seems to think the same about dealing with the press.

79

u/tb30k 8h ago

He's having a hard time figuring that out with the Iran war . The fact he still has enormous support is a sign of how stupid Americans are

27

u/pyramidalembargo 8h ago

His support has dropped into the 20s.

31

u/kgas36 8h ago

That's still 20 more than 0.

13

u/TiePrestigious7265 8h ago edited 7h ago

That is actually a good point. Even just one is horrible to see at this point.

7

u/3BlindMice1 7h ago

It's pretty well known that you can convince about 15% of the population of literally anything with just a bit of effort. Elvis was actually Jesus reborn? Easy lift. Sky is actually a deep green? Just need to convince some morons that deep green = sky. Trump is a good president? Apparently they work hard to fool themselves since doing otherwise would be admitting that they were wrong to vote for him

5

u/Douglas1994 6h ago

They should include a quick intelligence test with the ballot.

  • "Is the earth flat?" - Yes (discard ballot)
  • "Is the earth older than 5000 years?" - No (discard ballot)
  • "Does trickledown economics work?" - Yes (discard ballot) etc.

3

u/3BlindMice1 6h ago

I agree with you in principle, the problem is that we did that once and they were grossly abused to disenfranchise black people, poor people, and immigrants.

1

u/CmdrEnfeugo 6h ago

When Nixon resigned over Watergate, he still had a 24% approval rating. The hard core believers don’t give up easily.

26

u/Gavin1453 8h ago

Never trust the polls, especially after a decade of him exceeding their projectioms. So many of his supporters refuse to say they support him even in an anonymous survey, imo

24

u/pyramidalembargo 8h ago

His appeal has always bewildered me.

When they look, they see a Messiah.

When I look, I see an ugly, orange old man who yells and screams, cusses, and shits his pants.

I know how a color blind person must feel.

17

u/Gavin1453 8h ago

Yup, I'm still struggling after a decade of trying to see how people embrace such an obvious con man. I get he has done a splendid job marketing himself as "The Anti Status Quo Guy" so anyone with a grudge or who feels powerless seems to be drawn to him. But he is just so obviously out to screw others over to benefit himself. I'll never get it, I guess

5

u/jmd709 7h ago

Unconscious defense mechanisms protect a fragile ego from reality (eg being duped by a lie) that could harm their self-esteem.

They continue being fooled by a conman and by their own mind that cannot handle the reality they’re being played for fools.

1

u/pyramidalembargo 6h ago

I couldn't agree with you more.

They see a "friend"; I see a monster.

It all reminds me of that Space:1999 episode where they all saw friends, but Koenig saw them as the monsters they really were.

6

u/omgitsjagen 7h ago

He's a mirror. Some people like what they see.

1

u/First_manatee_614 7h ago

So what are we to do with his supporters once he dies?

1

u/omgitsjagen 7h ago

The pot is really strong, nowadays.

1

u/First_manatee_614 6h ago

That is not a solution but rather an enjoyable coping mechanism.

2

u/Neuchacho 1h ago edited 1h ago

Better their lives by shoving functional democratic socialism down their throats and removing private money from politics.

The politicians and power players who have enabled him and committed crimes, on the other hand. They need a severe reckoning.

1

u/Farquea 6h ago

I think his appeal was he offered something different from the usual career politician offering. However he's proven that he's no different and hasn't really done anything to better American Citizens lives and now people are also tired of what made him "different".

1

u/AssMuncher96 5h ago

It's very simple really. When they look they see themselves. That's why.

1

u/homer_lives 5h ago

The people were fucked in 2008 and most of the rural white middle class never recovered. They were ready to tear the whole system down and then Trump walks in and promises this. He was rude and irreverent and didn't give a fuck.

It was a grift from the start, he expected to lose and then use his popularity to launch a new Trump business.

He won in 2016 and how no idea what to do.

After 2020, a group of deep state conservatives figured out how to use him to enacted their rebellion to destroy the "liberal" state. This was a long term plan, starting in the 1980s.

It has never been just Trump. It has been anger from a group of people and a coordinated operation to destroy The USA, by the Heritage fund and allies.

1

u/DuntadaMan 26m ago

There is still vigorous argument on here that Yellow+Blue don't make green even though I have fucking crayons right fucking here and can see they do.

12

u/tb30k 7h ago

No disrespect. You taking about polls. American should be in the streets. Voting isn't saving this

5

u/LeLefraud 7h ago

Nah you don't get it us being against him online magically fixes it

6

u/tb30k 7h ago

Lol, exactly . The ilhan raid this morning should have woke anybody up that is sleeping. Were Ina very dangerous time period

1

u/pyramidalembargo 6h ago

You may be giving yourself bad karma, guv. Which far right candidate will your country elect?

Will thst be your fault? What will you do, if that happens?

5

u/DigBackground2765 7h ago

Maybe but we'll see in Nov.

3

u/Otherwise_Gap595 7h ago

Everywhere I see it’s in the mid 30’s

2

u/xjrh8 7h ago

Amazing numbers. Incredible numbers like nothing the world has ever seen.

1

u/8ackwoods 6h ago

Don't trust that shit at all

1

u/tb30k 6h ago

Even if 20 is true. That 20 will commit terrorist attacks for him not just vote

1

u/Tjonke 1h ago

He still has majority support among republican voters, they are just a lost cause at this point.

18

u/P2029 8h ago

"I'm the boss! I'm the big boy boss! You have to do what I say!" - The President of the United States

1

u/itstimetochewass 41m ago

Shit if that’s the standard then DarksydePhil might have a chance of reaching the Oval Office.

3

u/smellslike2016 7h ago

His rapist mentality is showing.

2

u/Morgannin09 6h ago

Dude always gets what he wants by pouting, or thinks he does when his caretakers lie to him. Problem is he can't pout his way into a ceasefire between two fundamentally opposed nations, but it won't stop him from trying.

2

u/sk0t_ 4h ago

He took responsibility for all war activity that continued beyond his first 24 hours in office

1

u/Excellent_Egg7586 3h ago

He said he'd end it with one phone call, on the day after the election, not even wait until he was sworn in.

Verdict: FAIL
