Dodge = redneck dickhead
Ford = redneck dickhead with money
Chevy = not as bad but potential is still there
GMC = not as likely but possible on occasion
You think a full size pickup is "big"? And THAT sets you off? You must be in a constant state of annoyance. Pickup trucks are dead useful vehicles. Love my truck. Love my bike more, but the truck is far more useful
No one complains about a pickup that someone uses for real purposes. No one complains about a cherry picker truck thats parked somewhere because they know it has a purpose.
Pickups are big, and dangerous to be around. They come with a larger public cost than other cars. If they are indeed used, then that's something people live with and accept as the cost of having a necessary vehicle. But when people buy them just to stoke ego, that's when people get annoyed.
Think of it this way. People walking with blind canes get in your way. You need to stop what you're doing, give space, avoid being hit, and the public needs to pay to upkeep crosswalk bumps and whatever. No one hates blind people that use canes. Now if 1/4 of people on the sidewalk all have canes and you know most of them see just fine? You'd get annoyed.Â
I don't choose to ride something based on what others think is cool. I ride what >I< like. If you make choices based on the opinions of others, well that's your issue
not biased at all, anytime I get cut off egregiously it’s a Truck. Anytime I see a dumb fucking maneuver it’s a truck. Anytime I see a DUI charge in the news. It’s a truck. Not always a truck but always a truck.
Pickups are very much over represented for DUIs. About 1 in 20 ram 2500 drivers has a dui. That's kinda crazy when you think about it. Their other claims are anecdotal, but the dui one is true.Â

Is swearing within a sentence somehow a sign that I was agitated? Now I truly hate trucks, honestly but it’s not enough to get angry over the internet. I constantly have to work on them at my job and they’re just consistently the dirtiest, most excessive forms of transportation we have on our roads. Sure I’ll get pissed working on one, but what reason do I have to rile myself up on the internet for some fuck wits that think their opinions matter to me.
