I wasn't paying attention to the back end of the truck my ex's dad loaned us to go to an event, didn't see he left the hitch on as i was carrying a huge trunk out. Put it in as the last item, hopped down and closed the trunk, then immediately cracked my (already chronically injured) shin off of it. My neighbors heard some LANGUAGE that day between me leaning over and heaving from pain lol. Hate those damn hitches ever since. Swear if i knew how to take it off i would've and hucked it into the nearby woods otherwise

I keep mine in the storage compartment under the rear seat. I left it on once and hit my shin because I wasn't paying attention.
Never left it in again, that's for sure.
