A buddy of mine bashed his shin on one as we were leaving a bar.

He pulled the pin and threw it in the back, putting dent and scratch in the otherwise pristine bed.

Funny how these beds always look entirely unused

Mine does too since I take it to a carwash and have a spray in liner.

I’m not defending these douches, but imma defend clean beds for a second. I have a pickup, not because I need the bed to haul anything but because I’m into mountaineering and pickups are generally the cheapest vehicles that can handle the off-roading I need to do. So my bed’s never been used and probably never will be, but it doesn’t make sense to spend 5k more for the exact same truck in SUV form

I made that observation once and they doubled down and insisted they absolutely needed a truck to haul things.

Anything large that needed to be delivered or taken away they either had delivered or paid someone to take it away for them. The only thing I ever saw in their bed was dust, pollen, and maple tree helicopters.

A little 10 lbs hitch dented the bed of a modern truck? Uh huh.

So he damaged someone else's property because he damaged himself on that property? I'm not saying I like big trucks taking up space, but that's just stupid.

Firemen love going through car windows when parked in front of hydrants. Same concept.

Not the same at all. Firemen break windows to go through because they need to. This guy chucked the hitch and damaged the bed because he was mad at him. There was no necessity to damage it.

Its reddit. Redditors have the biggest hate boner for trucks with no exceptions. If you're not hauling 24/7 and if that truck is not always running wirhout downtime then you shouldn't own a truck according to redditors

Except you're not a fireman lmao

It's illegal to park blocking the sidewalk like this. He should've called a tow truck.

It's also illegal to damage someone else's property. Two wrongs don't make a right

Those hitches are a predictable hazard at night. They’re low to the ground and you can’t see them. I

That doesn't give you the right to enforce your own judgment on them.
