I’m not much of a light novel reader or haven’t read in a very long time so if anyone has some recs of your FAV and addicting and BEST rated LNs I would appreciate!

Any genre is fine but for context I have read and loved classroom of the elite and the 86 LNs in the past. I do tend to like romance a lot, angst and dark themes, found family/multi- cast of characters but open to any recs

Pretty much as it says. Based in the UK and can’t find it in stock anywhere :(

It's a SoL, Cooking, Romance and Isekai. Strangely the combination works so well throughout its 6 volumes. It doesn't seem too popular unfortunately.

I'll give it a score around 8/10 or 9/10, not perfect but a fun read nontheless.

NOT A HAREM

Can you recommend some light novels that are not from famous countries (america, Korean, Chinese or like anything overated).

Like for example, a Cambodian novel or Romanian novel or Cuban novel or Tibet novel or anything that is not heard from but it is peak.

I like fiction: gotta be romance, action, fantasy, world building, etc. As long as it is filled with interest when reading it.

Ty.

I have been into fantasy light novels for two years. I love fantasy novels and anime that feature swords, magic, and monsters. But I don't really like ones that mix in modern technology and life. My favorites are Konosuba, Re:ZERO, Mushoku Tensei, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Ascendance of a Bookworm, and lots of others.

I am subscribed to Kindle Unlimited, so I can read a lot of them. But the first few volumes are free, and the rest cost money. When I can find an interesting one on Kindle, I buy the rest. How about Kindle Unlimited service in your country?

I read one light novel a day. And I am learning English. I want to talk about light novels in English. I might be able to help you learn Japanese. Please be my friend.

Thanks for reading. Sorry for my poor English.

I wanted to start reading it,so I'm curious where to buy it.

I heard there's light novel manga with 13 volumes? Is that right? Is there anyone who read it? And what's your opinion and did it end in 13th volume? Anyway if you have the manga, please send me link where you bought it 🙏🙏

And no spoilers

What I do know is that there is a main character who is at the beginning weak. And he gets a pandun, cultivation, formal I don't know what. And he gets naturally stronger. He has many wives in the story. Although it's diff definitely a harem themed. it's about mature arts. he does practice medicine learns about formations wanders from one continent to another, also in different cultivation continents. I only know that he at the beginning he travels with his mother to another city and there they have the family that he lives in, they have a ship a small shop I don't know what and he goes to a river and fishes fish with children and he puts them in in his small word he has.

So I'm gonna write some facts I know about and hope someone can help me find the novel.

Fact i know about:

1. MC is weak at the beginning and finds something or gets a cultivation method and gets a small world (pendant or i dont know)

2. Later travelled with his mother to another city and there he goes fishing nearby river with children and the fish he finds while fishing, he puts them in his small world. And there they evolve and he sells them and they are delicious in a restaurant.

3. It's I think primary harem based with martial arts based story. It's a good one. He has many wives and also later many children. In his journey he meets many w women that are later his wives. For example, one woman in the first city he comes to, which he rescues from a drug abuse, I think.

4. he is also good at medicine, formations and alchemy in the later time.

5. And I think later in the story he meets a small girl in a I don't know in a forest or I don't know what and that small girl can talk with animals.

I hope someone can help me find this web novel. I'm desperate to read it again.

Thank you.

I have to say this If an author constantly builds up romantic relationships and makes them a mystery with no proper ending or confirmation leaving readers to interpret what happened themselves then they’re not a good writer when it comes to romance

The whole point of telling a story is to give readers an actual narrative not force them to fill in plot holes or come up with their own conclusions because the author refuses to provide a proper resolution

It’s genuinely annoying how so many light novel and web novel authors nowadays can write good romance throughout their stories without necessarily making it the main focus only to reach the end and suddenly take the mysterious route “Well we don’t know what happened between them” Like what

They only use romance to drive sales and then stop writing it altogether as the story progresses There are plenty of manhwa and novels like this and genuinely if I had known beforehand I would have never read these types of stories

Imagine reading 250–500 chapters at minimum because the author keeps building up the romance and making you hope for a satisfying ending only to get hit with “Nobody truly knows how it ended”

Are they together? The story hinted at it Is it confirmed? Not really

These aren’t questions readers should have to ask after investing hundreds of chapters into a relationship If you don’t want to write romance then just don’t But don’t use it to keep readers invested only to abandon it completely when it’s time to deliver an actual conclusion

Hello fellow people, I’m posting this because of an inquiry I have due to an issue that I’ve noticed and continues to grow. I have been deep in my anime watching bag for a while now. For the past two or so years, my main watch has been anime aside for once in a blue moon where I might watch a stream or a live action movie/show. The issue that I’m having is regularly noticing something that seems off to me in the story of an anime, and searching to find out that most of the time I get that feeling it stems from source material to anime adaptation discrepancies. An example I can give is rich girl caretaker. Watching the anime, I found myself confused at a few different things with that story. “Why did hinako fall for him so fast?” “Why did halfway through the season the main heroine somehow just got thrown in the back seat?” “Why do the other heroines get such better relationship development with the mc?” Each time I have questions similar to these (it might not even be romance, I’ve had this same thing with any anime genre.), and I take the time to do some research on it the answer usually comes back to “the anime adaptation left out such and such” or “compressed this volume” or “made this change.” I’ve found that this has been kind of ruining stories for me. Anyways, aside from my yapping (I don’t have a lot of fellow anime enjoyers friends to get this off my chest with lmaooo) I as an American resident would like to know how I can find reliable online sources (IOS friendly; not sure if that matters) for light novels/mangas to read from.

TLDR; I hate how anime adaptations always ruin a story’s progression with their plot compression and changes, so I want to migrate over to light novels and manga. Any good references for online light novel and manga sources that are IOS/American resident friendly?

Thanks in advance! :D

Bonjour,

https://discord.gg/XCcHuWTvd

If my publication isn’t allowed with a link to a discord I’ll remove it of course !

Hello, it’s pretty much what I wrote in the title, I can speak English but I’m french and sometimes I would like to share in French because it’s easier to write for me
So yeah, anyone know of a discord server primarily in french about Light Novels or about manga/anime with a light novel channel ?
And preferably with adults please, I’m 31 so I’d prefer somewhere at least with clear separation between minors and adults

Thanks in advance 🩵

If a light novel series has been running for 30 years and still hasnt had a single bad volume it isnt the greatest piece of fiction but its very good and consistently good is it possible and if so would u reccomend it.

Hot take Korean novels ( in English translation) are the most boring to read among the three. Second is the Japanese, I just don't feel the vibe. However, in Chinese novels they have the best novels in my opinion. I mean there are also peak novels in Korean/ Japanese but it just they are boring to read(?) is it just me or if you translate their language into English it is just boring.

Hi guys i was reading this translated light novel called maneater in english but I accidently closed the tab and didn't book mark the website. I discovered the light novel on reddit but I can't seem to find the original poster to find the link to read it again. It was a really small author who wrote the light novel and it was translated from chinese im pretty sure. Pls help.

Hi, I’ve been trying for a long time to find this novel I read a while ago. I don’t remember the title at all, or any character names. I only vaguely remember the plot and a few things that happened.

What I still remember:

The protagonist died in her previous life while going to buy something (I don’t remember if it was food or a cake) for her little siblings. I think it was some kind of apocalyptic world, because she mentioned she had never seen trees or landscapes like the ones in the new world. She reincarnated into the body of a total “trash” girl in an ancient matriarchal world. The original was already married, though I’m not sure if it was to one husband or several.

The original had sold her younger brother (who had a mental disability) to some kind of tavern or food-selling place. The new protagonist goes and gets him back.

I also think she taught the family of one of her husbands (they were bricklayers or builders) how to make heated beds, because the people in the village wouldn’t help them.

She had magical abilities from her previous world that she brought with her. She used them to strengthen herself, heal animals, help with farming, and tan animal hides, which she then sold.

She helped a couple when she bought some goats, and later hired them to take care of her crops. They had a daughter who became her little brother’s love interest.

There was a maternal uncle (married to her maternal aunt) who were like the early villains. They had taken the inheritance (the house) that should have belonged to her mother.

The grandmother was still alive (I’m not sure about the grandfather).

I’ve been searching for a long time and can’t find it. If this rings a bell to anyone or if you know something similar, I’d really appreciate it. Thank you!

I'm looking for "The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes" Novel in Korean but can't seem to find any website where it isn't sold out or overpriced. Does anyone know any good places I can look? I already tried Kyobo, Aladin, and recently tried BandiBooksUS which cancelled my order after they ran out of stock.

PS: I'm looking for the novel, not the Manga or the Ebook (I am looking for the PAPER-COPY)
