Sarah Versus Rapunzel

There's obviously a lot of Chuck in Flynn Rider's character, but I'm starting to see a little Sarah Walker in Rapunzel, too.

i love the idea of rapunzel being kinda parallel to sarah except sarah is not sheltered or naive, rapunzel obviously is lol

Actually, Sarah was a bit sheltered and naive to the normal world, having lived is such a different one growing up and, then in the spy world.

that’s definitely fair, i always forget naïve means ignorant more than it does innocent so i use the two more interchangeably than i should. i was leaning more towards rapunzel being so coddled and innocent vs sarah always being SO aware of every detail of her surroundings i remember one episode where her dad does the thing where he taps her on the shoulder but is standing on the other side of her, but she turns to the opposite shoulder that was tapped, turning directly to him. i thought that was an INCREDIBLE detail to show how aware she is. not that her dad was there, but that she wasn’t going to get tricked.

Chuck is my favorite TV show. Tangled is my favorite (modern) Disney movie.

Excellent taste. I think they did a great job tweaking the standard princess movie formula to deliver something that has such broad appeal. And who knew Zac could sing?

Funnily enough, he was actually a main character in a Broadway musical! It was performing through 2013 so right after chuck ended
