Backstory:

Leon was born the second prince of Vale and grew up carefree, sheltered by his older brother Max, who was his best friend. The two often disguised themselves as commoners and sneaked out of the castle to experience life beyond the royal court.

Everything changed on Max’s 15th birthday. As part of Vale’s coming-of-age tradition, Max drank a ceremonial glass of wine—only to be poisoned and assassinated before Leon’s eyes. His death made Leon the heir to the throne and forced him to confront the responsibilities he had spent his childhood avoiding.

Terrified of becoming a target himself, Leon attempted to flee the kingdom disguised as a guard. His servant Sebastian caught him but, instead of stopping him, took him into the heart of Vale. There, Leon saw the reality of the kingdom for the first time: starving citizens, poverty, corruption, forced fighting, and nobles exploiting the people while living in luxury.

Sebastian gave Leon a choice: run from Vale or stay and become the king it desperately needed.

Leon chose to stay. He swore three principles:

• Bravery: Stand up for what is right, even when it is dangerous.
• Zeal: Believe there is good in everyone and that people can change.
• Steadfastness: Keep every promise and oath he makes.

Knowing that good intentions weren't enough, Leon joined an Order of Paladins and spent four years training in combat, justice, responsibility, and sacrifice. The carefree prince he once was gradually became a disciplined paladin determined to return to Vale and change it.

Four years later, Leon received his first mission:

Travel to Seegrim, find the Hand and Eye of Vecna, and destroy them.
