Jesse blows up Todd and the lab with a cigarette [already hinted at the beginning of two episodes ago with the flashback to their first cook and Walt telling Jesse not to light it in there, Jesse responding with "Like I'm an idiot..", this is obvious). Also, I feel that Todd going back and giving Jesse ice cream (both flavors) shows that Todd will be willing to give Jesse a cigarette after a successful cook. Walt leaves the barrel in the cabin as a token that it was all worth nothing, & guns down the Aryans. Final shot is Walt taking the ricin.

As stated many times before, I have a feeling he wouldn't take the ricin. It's a slow and painful death, if Walt was to kill himself, he'd do it with a gun, or have Jesse do it for him. Walt couldn't even put the iv in his own arm last episode, i have a feeling his is scared of hurting or killing himself

For the most part I agree that walt wouldn't take the ricin but several people have suggested that he takes the ricin and then turns himself in. That's a possibility t hat I can see happening.

I like this answer. I feel as if Walt wants everything he has started to come crashing down. Originally, after assuming that the nazis had killed Jesse, he was going to potentially turn him self into the police (phone call to DEA). However, that TV interview with Gretchen made him realize that the nazis were keeping Jesse to cook meth, leaving some unfinished business for Heisenberg to return to (kill Jesse, end his blue meth, kill nazis, get his money back). Gretchen's remarks about Walt's nonexistant influence on the success of Gray Matter gives him reason to want to kill that business as well. Walt has realized that he is no longer Walt, only Heisenberg, and why should something he started continue after he dies?

Walter White is scared. Heisenberg is crazy.

You're right Walt would never take the ricin to kill himself. He was too scared to put the needle in his arm for the IV. But as we've seen countless times throughout the series, Heisenberg is willing to go to lengths that Walter White is not. I think the writers of the show have written every episode brilliantly and definitely surprised us on where they can take the plot. I don't see why it isn't probable that he will ingest the ricin himself!

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '13

His pride wouldn't allow him to shoot himself, at least not in a location where his body could be found.

1

u/totsky2 Sep 25 '13

Walt may be scared of needles or hurting or killing himself, but Walt is already dead. Only Heisenberg remains

1

u/ChronicTheOne Sep 26 '13

It has to take time, so that Skyler can give him to the police and he dies in jail without looking plotted.

1

u/bosephus Sep 26 '13

I agree he won't take the ricin himself. He knows he is going to die from cancer before they can prosecute him anyway.

Walts a chicken but heisen is a total burn-yourself-badass. I guess it comes down to whose in the moment. But I agree. He's not gonna put the ricin his mouth.

Final shot is Walt shoving the Ricin in his ass.

Executive producer Vince Gilligan.

I predict Walt lying on the ground bleeding, he and Jesse the only two survivors of his raid against the Nazis. As Jesse gets close to finish the job Walt ingests the ricin.

Jesse shoots him right between the eyes anyway.

Credits.

2

u/halle111 Im not sure what your role would be but I think I want you there Sep 25 '13

The problem with the cigarette theory is that if Jesse kills Todd, the Nazis will kill Brock. I don't see Jesse taking that risk after seeing how serious they were about killing andrea.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '13

Oh good one, didn't even see that.

1

u/TheOmnomnomagon I'll send YOU to Belize. Sep 25 '13

I doubt Walt would take the ricin. Bullet in the brain is much quicker.

1

u/004forever Sep 25 '13

You don't need a cigarette to blow up a meth lab. It's a meth lab. People get randomly blown up in meth labs all the time. And by now, Jesse probably knows how to trigger a meth lab explosion. I could see them doing a throwback to the pilot with the poisonous gas, but someone pointed out that they couldn't do that with their setup.

The cigarette thing is the only thing that makes sense in this thread

1

u/soundslikeseagull Sep 25 '13

Maybe there will be an allusion to the first episode when he tries to shoot himself before the fire trucks (what he thought were police) passed by

1

u/tokenblacky Sep 25 '13

oh shit...never thought about that flashback about smoking around the chemicals.

1

u/HeisenburgersS5 Sep 25 '13

Or Walt leaves the barrel of cash in the cabin and even though Vaccuum guy is mad and exasperated(he did predict Walt would get caught) he ends up giving the money to Skyler...

1

u/michaeldunworthsydne Sep 26 '13

I'm pretty certain this is correct and I'm commenting on it so that I can easily refer back to it after the episode because it sounds so accurate.

1

u/ShaidarHaran2 Sep 26 '13

And not just any ice cream. Colberts Americone Dream.

1

u/kickpuncher1 Sep 26 '13

I think he'll tell Skyler about the cabin and were they money is. Before he has her turn him in.

1

u/EvilShroomer Sep 26 '13

This won't happen because at this point Walter White has no family and has broken as bad as it gets. If this was his plan he would've done it earlier but on the phone call he said he has things to do

1

u/kickpuncher1 Sep 26 '13

Then why does he keep trying to take care of his family? That's what it was all about to him. Calling Skyler so she wouldn't get in trouble. Trying to send them money. He still wants his family to have that money. I'll bet he finds a way to give it to them.

1

u/EvilShroomer Sep 26 '13

After he called Walt Jr and Walt Jr just told him to go die, did he keep trying to get a hold of his family? Nope. He called the DEA and as far as we know, heads back to Albuquerque with an m60. I'm not saying he's going to kill his family but I don't think getting his family back is a priority to him.

1

u/kickpuncher1 Sep 27 '13

Im just saying that I think he'll try and help them. Whether they except the help is a whole different story.

1

u/EffrumScufflegrit Sep 26 '13

Nothing is "obvious"

1

u/Sempais_nutrients Tampico is the best-o Sep 27 '13

one last exextremely successful cook, 99.9 percent purity.

1

u/hamza780 Sep 27 '13

Jesse would have to kill all of the aryans because of he just kills Todd or Jack the others would go and kill brock.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 29 '13

Well read, shit, I'd completely overlooked that flashback as I was reading into it differently, focussing on the fact Walt was pre-empting the conversation with his wife, that's the old rational, calm Walt, simply showing how much he's changed now into a more impulsive and emotional Heisenberg. You're bang on with the cigarette theory there I'm guessing.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '13

One problem with the cigarette theory though. Jesse tried to escape after given the ice cream, so Todd probably won't give him any more luxuries.

8

u/gmoneygangster3 Marie stole this flair Sep 25 '13

but todd dosent seem like a vengeful or angry person

Good point.
