Hey everyone! I'm u/Lootrapp, a founding moderator of r/SmallBizChat.

I started r/SmallBizChat because running a business is weird, lonely, and sometimes hilarious, and most business subs are either all hustle-guru advice or people selling something. This is the break room: real owners talking about what it's actually like.

What belongs here

- Rants: the client who wanted it "quick and cheap," the supplier who ghosted you

- Wins: first hire, first $10k month, finally paying yourself

- "Is this normal?" questions you can't ask anyone else

- Stories and lessons from the trenches

- Memes that only owners understand

Solo owners, side-hustlers, 50-person teams, and people about to launch: all welcome.

Vibe

Be kind, be real, roast the situation and not the person. No pitches, no "DM me," no gurus. Keep it about running a business.
