This quest is driving me up the wall. I've tried the Quest Debugger mod and that seems to think I have a postwhiterun quest active (I do not). I'm doing Boethiah's Calling and nothing i do on 'Lead Someone To Become Trapped By The Shrine And Slay Them' section WILL NOT WORK. Does anyone have any fixes, any mods I can use, or anything of the like to sort this issue out.

For context I play completely vanilla Skyrim on Xbox one series X , since the most recent update the game kept crashing every couple of times I used the map , however I have saw on r/skyrim that this is a common bug upon the most recent update that a lot of people are experiencing

However for the last 16 hours the game won’t even let me load on , I click continue and it puts me to the loading screen and then shuts me off

I’ve tried everything I’ve restarted the Xbox multiple times , cleared reserved space , re installed the game and tried running it through recent saves rather than continue

Is this the update? Or have my save files corrupted?

If anybody could help that would be greatly appreciated 😭

I have draugr eyes that won’t disappear.. I’m playing on vanilla not doing mods

Let me preface this with mild spoilers as I’m not well versed in Reddit-etiquette and don’t necessarily know how to tag for them.

So I started a modded run recently and I’m not sure if this is the correct community/tag for this but I’m running into some trouble in the final stage of the quest titled, “soul chains” for those unfamiliar, you fight an orc who during the fight has some dialogue and eventually become “possessed” by molag bal and then you have to fight him to free a bunch of slaves from “under his influence”

Well - he is now unkillable. I have tried to reload the cutscene, the whole area, the whole island of solstheim really. The same result ensues, he just gets knocked and then regenerates health. I’ve seen one YouTube video where the player knocks him about 20 times before he dies and finally completes the quest, and I have definitely done that 16-18 times now, killing him up to 30+ times. I’ve interacted with everything in the room, I’ve tried enchanted weapons and magic, I’ve gotten the message “groshak resisted soul trap” and everything under the sun. Not really sure what else could be done outside of trying to download some sort of “cheat room”-esque mod to change the nature of the npc.

Anyways I’m very close to giving up and I would hate that as the quest and mod overall have been very fun. I would like to know if anyone else has encountered this and has some tips. Please let me know as well if I am in the wrong thread/tag/subreddit for this question.

Any time I download more than a few heavy mods I get landed on this screen that never stops loading and it forces me to delete all of my mods and start all over again and I would like to know if there is any way I can fix this without deleting all of my mods and starting over? I've tried hard console restart and I can't do the offline download thing because Skyrim is digital only on my xbox series s.

Where’s the dedication that made you? Skyrim was maybe the greatest game and certainly the best RPG of all time. Now you push this update that we can’t remove, which leads to so many people, myself included, to basically stop playing. You are unable to check your map with any reliability as the game breaks and restarts after about the 3rd map open. Bethesda has known this and even acknowledged it for days but it isn’t corrected. Not even a release date. A real apology might be nicer. But the best would be to reverse the update so I can play my 15 year old game.

Am I the only one who has found Skyrim after the August update to be almost unplayable?
I have started and restarted the game several times, deleted mods, added mods, tried everything I can think of and read as much as I can find about it, but it just keeps freezing up and crashing no matter what I try! I play on an Xbox/s.
I need help please!

Im currently playing through a 100% run to clear up achievements I havent got before and Ive come to a roadblock immedatly after opening the elder scrolls at the time break. When I do the cuts cent starts normally but when the woman (I cannot spell her name) is supposed to kill the first dragon she just says her voiceline but nothing happens, leaving it for an extended period of time just leads to the dragon staring at me, assuredly as confused as I am.

Alot of the suggestions I have seen online are either use console commands (not possible for me on console) or to download a mod to fix this (would invalidate the point of my run since im going for achievements). Only thing I did try is moving to different spots to open the scroll and not touching the controller, both did nothing.

If anyone has any in game solutions for how to get around this I would appreciate it greatly, dont necessarily need to do it but it would be awkward to arm to level 70 ish for legendary dragons without finishing the main quest.

EDIT: I have solved my issue. For those who come after it was the Kallax creation club mod causing the issue. Once I disabled it the cutscene played out as expected. I am not going to try and reinstall him but good luck if you choose to.

Hello all. I’m trying to avoid having to revert to an earlier save that was from a LONG TIME AGO. I’m on the blessings of nature quest and my quest follower Maurice Jondrelle got lost, died, something. I’ve fast traveled and he’s nowhere. I’ve checked his common spots in whiterun the temple of kyraneth etc. I have quest debugger cheat room and two different NPC spawn mods installed. One is Spawn NPC reworked and the other is goodies chest/Spawn NPC from the creations store. I really wanna get him back so I can finish this quest without losing him. Only issue is I couldn’t get his ID to work in cheat room because it didn’t type the numbers I was selecting in. He isn’t in either of the spawn NPC mods. He also isn’t in dead room on cheat room. Someone please help! Tell me this isn’t a lost cause. I’m playing on Xbox

Hello everyone! I wanted to come on here to ask around if anyone knows on what to do and how to help me lol. I’m currently playing the quest “Alduin’s Bane” and whenever I read the scroll and get to the vision on when the 2 characters go to kill the one dragon, the woman character says what she says but then it just pauses and it’s like the gameplay is frozen. I do play with mods so I’m not sure on which mod could be interfering with the script. I never had this happen to me and I’ve always played with the same mods. Does anyone have an idea on how I can fix this? I’ve tried a lot of things that could help but it’s still not working. I also play on Xbox.

I’ve been having an issue on Xbox with the Civil War Champions creation not starting. It’s kinda bumming me out bc I started this playthrough with the Civil War as a focus. I’ve sided with the Empire up to the Eastmarch campaign now and I still haven’t gotten a letter about doing the quest. Since I joined a faction, the letter that would otherwise be in the Drunken Huntsman isn’t there. I saw some people say that entering the Drunken Huntsman makes the courier arrive but I’ve been in and out of there multiple times and no courier. Any further advice? Might have to see at this point if there’s a way to uninstall and reinstall it but it looks a bit trickier on Xbox

it’s my first playthrough and i cant kill dragons for the life of me. i’ve used melee weapons my whole playthrough but haven’t had any luck using them nor any other means of fighting to kill dragons. i can fight any other thing in the game perfectly fine but ive been trying to kill this dragon for about 2 hours and i ended up losing my follower because of overusing quicksave and not realizing she had died. i need tips on EVERYTHING, im obsessed with the game so far but i find it very hard and confusing.

my conjuration, illusion, alchemy, speech, pickpocket, lockpicking, sneak, light armour, heavy armour, two handed has been reset i think im gonna quit skyrim after this. I was loving this game but I think that's just put me over the edge; also yes i downloaded mods midway but none touch my perks or progression. please help there's no earlier save to reset to?

Hi everyone, I’m having a problem with Skyrim on Xbox 360.

I was planning to become Thane of Markarth, and I completed the quest to help 5 citizens. However, I talked to Raerek about buying the house before I had the 8,000 gold required. Because of that, I can no longer access the house-buying dialogue option, and now he only gives me generic dialogue.

I found out that one possible solution would be to progress through the Civil War and replace the Jarl. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize that this solution required siding with the Stormcloaks, and I completed the Civil War on the Imperial side instead.

I’d like to know if there is any way to buy the house and fix this bug. My main reason for becoming Thane was to get Argis as my housecarl and companion, but now I can’t get either of them.

I’m new to the game, and I’m playing on an Xbox 360 with RGH and Aurora, with all DLCs installed. I’d really appreciate it if some kind soul could help me figure this out.

I know this isn’t an Xbox Series X, I only have an Xbox 360, and I really need help with this.

I have a little question to the Mod Konahrik’s Accoutrements.
At the Dragon Forge I can craft eather the normal robes (from the individual metals) or a heavy Upgrade from a (de-cursed) robe of a defeated Dragon Priest.
For each robe I can craft a specific hood (without the mask).
As an Example: When I craft a Bronze Robe, the matching hood is „grey hood“. When I defeat the Dragon Priest Otar, the matching hood is „Embroidered green“.
Where can I craft the specific hoods without mask for the Dragon Priests of Solstheim?
I can’t find them.
Can someone help me?

I've been having trouble with my LO as it keeps crashing when I try to load or start a new game. I'm also having crashes when I move or update the LO and leave the Creation Club. When the game reverts back to the main and "loads" the new LO, the game crashes, however when I relaunch it seems the update(s) apply. The one frustrating thing is I don't get the chance to load the game and even test the mods to see what other issues there may be. Just crashes immediately. The only time I've had success with modded Skyrim has been following someone else's LO, but I wanted to try and set up my own but no luck. I am no modding master so please excuse the possible basic or obvious mistakes. I tried to follow the Halls of Ysgramor LLO but I'm sure some mods may not be in proper placement. If anyone has any advice to fix the LO or thoughts on why I'm crashing I would GREATLY apperciate it.
