27m looking for a room for rent or roommate in ballard, fremont or queen anne areas.

ballard, fremont or queen anne neighborhoods. I work in the area and am relatively lowkey but down to grab a beer on occasion. preferably somewhere with some type of off street parking or east street parking.

Also open to sub-leasing a boat if someone has one available with liveaboard status but thats more of a pipe dream.

Budget is open so send me a message.

Hi,

I am a grad student who will be starting a postdoc position in Seattle in January. I am pretty relaxed and easy going. I ideally like to live with people rather than being solo. If you want to look for a nice place for two people with potentially a small guest room and large common space so that we can also host people from time to time and organize things,I would love to catch up.

I am turning 30,Male. If you are young professionals and are similar in interest hit me up.

House Split in Kirkland With 1 Quiet Clean & Chill Adult! $1,650/mo + Utilities

Hello, I’m a regular guy in his 30’s living and working on the Eastside, and I’m looking for another professional adult housemate who may want to split a house I’m currently renting in Rose Hill area of Kirkland.

I’m open to more than 1 roommate but ideally I’d like to find 1 other person who wants to split the house, have a little extra space but otherwise save on some rent as compared to living alone.

The house’s floorplan is pretty great for 2 adults, and I don’t use common areas (hardly ever) so for the right person I think it could work out really well.

I’m clean, quiet, and keep the house really chill. Located in a really nice neighborhood in a very safe and convenient area.

Looking for a November move-in

DM me if you’re interested and I can answer questions or send more info and stuff - thanks!

Seeking recommendations on neighborhoods

I am looking for a rental in Seattle with a budget up to ~$2,500 for a one-bedroom. Eventually, once I know better where I'd like to live, I see myself purchasing an apartment. I would like to be car-free, at least initially. I am looking for access to mass transit, preferably the light rail, to get to Fred Hutch South Lake Union and UofW Montlake several times per month. I am retired and am hoping to have amenities like a fitness center in my building and shopping and recreation center nearby. I've been looking at Lynnwood, Northgate, and Roosevelt, but I'm not sure Lynnwood is going to work well without a car. I was thinking that maybe it makes more sense to live closer to Fred Hutch and possibly budget a bit more in lieu of a car and insurance. I will be in Seattle next week looking at areas and apartment buildings. I would appreciate any suggestions you may have.

Any good apartments near Roosevelt Station? Seeing mixed reviews here

I'm currently living downtown, and after seeing Green Lake in the fall, I would really love to live nearby. I was thinking of exploring apartments near Roosevelt Station, but I've been seeing some negative trends in this subreddit. Is it really that bad?
Do you have any positive recommendations for apartments near the station? I've tried researching through Google Maps reviews but wanted other opinions

Apartments in/near Ballard with High Quality of Life

Not really sure how to word this, but looking if y'all have experience or recommendations for apartments that feel bright and happy, not dark and dingy. I recently moved to Seattle and took a 6mo lease so I can find a long term place. I'm looking for a 1BR/1BA in the Ballard or surrounding areas for $2000/mo give or take.

I've gone on a few tours over the past week and it's been about 50/50 on if an apartment feels like a stale motel vs a cozy home. My experience so far is apartments on higher levels are better since it can take in more direct sunlight than on the ground and windows being covered by trees. Also big windows help and modern appliances seem to help. Anyone live somewhere they truly enjoy and would recommend?

TLDR: Any recommendations on apartment complexes near the Ballard area that are modern, bright, and reasonably priced?

WA landlords, we put together a free toolkit in case it helps.

We kept seeing the same landlord questions come up, so we put together a free toolkit with checklists, calculators, move-in tools, vacancy/profitability worksheets, and a few WA-specific resources.

Figured it might save someone a bit of time:

[lease takeover] 1600/studio upper QA

I moved out early and I'm looking for someone to take over my studio lease. You'd get added to the lease through management (normal application), then I’m removed. The place is totally empty and ready to go.

- Around $1600/mo, which covers water, sewer, garbage and the package fee. Electric is on you (City Light).
- Lease runs through March 2027. After that you can go month-to-month or re-sign.
- I'm still on the hook until then, so you'd just pay from whenever you move in (prorated).
- About 300 sq ft, unfurnished, faces a quiet courtyard
- Newer building, nice tiled bathroom with a stand-up shower
- In-unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, 2-burner cooktop (no oven)
- Gym, rooftop with great views, secure package delivery, small storage unit
- 3rd floor, just two flights of stairs up
- Grocery store right there, and plenty of neighborhood parking
- Pretty quiet. You can hear the upstairs neighbor walking around sometimes.
- No pets on the current lease

Similar units around here go for about $1700. DM me if you want photos or to come see it!

Looking for a 1-2 bedroom rental in north Seattle / Edmonds / Mount Terrance lake areas

**UPDATE** I’m trying to get ahead and secure something before my lease where I’m at ends. That will be by 11/30. My ideal move in time frame is 11/18 or later. Just so I have time to move things myself since I work and also be able to clean my other place and leave it nice and spotless for my landlord (: so this isn’t immediate like by this week. I just like to be prepared and sure I have a place to go. ****

Hi! Been on this sub a few times already, but I’m hoping I can get some help once again! I’m looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom rental around north Seattle, Edmonds or mountlake terrance areas. I’d prefer to rent from the owner, and also maybe even rent out a bottom unit / basement section. My current situation is something of that nature and we dont mind at all. It will be two people, two pets (cats). Cats are certified service animals. My budget is up to 1500.00

Unfortunately I have a last minute switch up for my move out plans so I am short with a deposit, but can definitely least cover the 1st month rent.

Credit isn’t the best unfortunately but I can get you referrals from current and past landlords about my on time payments and sometimes even thensome!!!

Please if anyone is looking to rent out their lower sections, knows of any areas or sites I can check out id greatly appreciate it! I’ve tried Craigslist, hotpads and Zillow rentals but most are cooperate and I usually end up not getting through the credit portion (just being fully transparent here)

TLDR: 1 or 2 bedroom, budget 1500.00 preferably from private owner / lower house section

I heavily prefer a studio but am open to female current student/new grad roommates as long as there’s a private bathroom. Budget is dependent on the place and if there is a furnished option or not. !¡! Still Looking for a Roommate !¡!

Hello Hello!

!¡! I’m still looking for a new roommate to fill the spare room !¡!

I'm now looking for a November move in or anytime in October

We're in a really cute 2 bedroom apartment.

It’s 1,100 sqft, on the 2nd floor of a converted 1920s house.

It's not far up Magnolia and has a great view! with tons of windows:) Sadly landlords don't allow pets.

Rent per person is $1,250, utilities included beside electrical!

A little about myself: My name's Simon Porter, I'm a Seattle local with a lotta love for the city. I'm 35 and spend my time biking, watching movies, and working on art projects. I'm a career Video Editor that's taking a break from the screen and working as a carpenter and gardener. I'm a big reader and collector of books, as well as a craft artist. I like to keep things pretty clean and appreciate a transparent, empathetic roommate relationship. I spend a lot of time out and about but still love my time alone at the house. I’d like to live in a creative and relaxing space with a cool roomie!

Reach out and tell me a bit about yourself and we can schedule a tour to get to know each other.

Thanks for your time! Let me know of any questions you all might have.

I’ll include photos of the apartment but note my room mate still has a few things here. Most of the furniture is mine except some large book shelves and one of the dining tables. I can also include the original post from my Landlords off group if wanted since no external links allowed!

Thanks again!

Simon.
