Questions & Help How does 100M work? One photograph, one message, one place in the collection.
If you've just discovered 100,000,000 (100M), here's a quick introduction to how it all works.
The idea is simple: we're building a collection of 100 million photographs, each accompanied by one original message from the person who contributed it.
Everyone has something worth sharing.

2. Choose your photograph
Select a photograph that means something to you. It could be a portrait, a special place, a meaningful moment, or something that represents your story.
You'll be able to adjust and confirm your square crop.
3. Write your message
You have up to 1,000 characters to share whatever you'd like the world to know.
It could be something inspirational, personal, thoughtful, funny, or simply a message that matters to you.
4. Submit for review
Every contribution goes through moderation before it can be accepted.
5. Complete your participation
Once approved, the normal participation fee is $1 USD.
For a limited time, our Reddit community can participate for free using the promotional code REDDITFREE.
6. Become part of the collection
Once everything is completed and your contribution is published, you'll receive your own permanent photograph number.
Your photograph and message become part of the public 100M Gallery, where visitors can discover, read, translate and share messages.
🌎 Explore the collection
You don't need an account to browse the Gallery.

The question behind everything we do is simple:
What is your message to the world?
We'd love to hear what you think of the idea!
