Donald Trump is easily the most hated man in America (if not on the planet). Is it really so hard to believe someone would try to shoot him? It's not even unprecedented: six US presidents have been shot, and four were killed.
Ever notice how he drones on and on about people like Comey, and Mueller? People who he said targeted him? Yet, for some reason, not a peep about the people that apparently actually targeted him?
Well yeah because the profile of the guy is not convenient lol. If the dude was trans they would eat it up lol. He’s some white trash pennsyltucky man who wears grunt style shirts. That’s basically 99% of his demographic. He’s a sociopathic opportunist. Bringing up the kid is not going to help him, but the photos of the situation and his “Fight fight fight” are, so he’s going to go with that.
There are others who have interrupted him at rallies or protested against him (one even threw things at him) he also never really brought them up again. For him he targets powerful people that he thinks are against him.
Thats because those people are still free and causing trouble, meanwhile the attempted assassins are already dead or arrested so they are no longer a threat.
Well the attempted assassin was a pimple face teenager with a probably improperly sighted assault rifle it’s not hard to believe he missed.
When Charlie Kirk was killed people were saying it must’ve been staged because how could this kid hit him from so far away. Seems like no matter what people say something is staged.
It is amazing watching redditors grasp at wanting things to be more organized and moral than any CIA coup or social engineering op has (historically) shown them to be.
Are we forgetting the clear lack of movement from the government on the epstein files?
It's all theater, both dems and repubs seek to maintain the status quo and keep you doing labor they would never want to do themselves.
They don't really care about us. Stop acting like it's some moral upstanding posture to question what psychopaths in power would be willing to do or cover up to keep the populace focused on relatively harmless topics lol

Well, remember too that Reddit is not a singularity of thought.
A million users are going to have a million opinions. And the bell curve will always have tails. Sometimes those "tail" ideas get s lot of upvotes, simply because they help us process the rage we're each feeling in the moment, even if the idea itself is crap.
Elon did not use Starlink to rig a DJT victory in 2024. But that was a sexier idea (in the moment) than the more moderate one: Biden dropped out too late, Kamala wasn't primary-tested, and fumbled her campaign.
It's like the JFK assassination. The only reason it became the center of all those conspiracy theories is because JFK died. The details of the assassination attempt are about the same as Ford iirc, but because Ford lived there was no need for a grand conspiracy to explain it. Now with Trump it's the other way around, because he survived and because the one thing he has is good media instincts people end up making conspiracy theories to explain it. In the mind of the conspiracy theorist every outcome must be equaled by the cause. Mundane explanations are never sufficient if they feel the outcome was important enough.
Its an attempt to disassociate from the fact that somebody on the same side of the political aisle may have engaged in political violence. But it takes some real short sightedness to equivocate a psychopath with the actions of an entire group.
Sometimes it feels like Reddit is a republican conspiracy designed to get Donald Trump elected. So many blatant lies and crazy conspiracy theories about Trump get parroted here and I'm convinced it's pushing people in the center towards the right.
Not really, but it's hard to believe that someone incompetent enough to miss that shot actually managed to get to that position aim at Trump and shoot. The guy should never be able to reach this point.
For me it was that he was able to stand there while being wrestled away by secret service agents and was able to make a short statement. Especially given that he’s the thinnest skinned most self preserving guy. Him suddenly have a moment of courage while being shot at makes no sense.
It is hard to believe a die hard trump supporting kid, who had bad aim already, would try to end Trump. Its hard to believe that it was real and just barely scratched his ear, yet killed someone else.
Its not really conspiritorial, you can watch the event. secret service members ushered journalist towards the center stage and the crane truck lowerd the american flag into perfect position for the photo
