[Flojo] David Bailey on sacking Deshaun Watson thrice vs. the Browns: "It felt good to know that I'm able to do this, to compete at the highest level."
Why didn't the Jets resign Quincy Williams?
I always liked Quincy, but AG didn't. What was the main reason?

David Bailey is only the 3rd rookie since 2000 with 5 sacks in his first 5 games
- Mark Anderson - 5.5 Sacks 2006 (Finished Season with 12 sacks. was his best season in NFL)
- Von Miller - 5 Sacks 2011 ( Finished season with 11.5 sacks. Future HOFer)
- David Bailey - 5 Sacks 2026 (I suspect his career will end somewhere between these two)
As a Jets fan, I'm usually forced to focus on the negative. I've posted a ton of negative Jets stats. But, 5 sacks in 5 games is fantastic. He just missed another 1-2 yesterday as well.
Fans here and on radio were freaking out after last week, because he had a bad game (and Reese was very good last week). He will certainly have more bad games this season.
It's totally ridiculous for fans to write off a rookie because he has one bad game. However, it's pretty clear now that he will be a superstar for the next decade. And anyone who thinks otherwise is obviously biased.

Can anyone explain why AG should have went for 2 at the end of the game?
I see a lot of discourse around AG not going for 2 to make it a 6 point lead. There was 4 minutes left in the game, still time for a TD and a chance to win the game with a field goal if you stop the 2 point. There is a higher chance to fail the 2 point especially in the conditions and it forces the browns to attempt the 2 point to make it a 3 point lead. Only positive I could see it would force the browns go make the extra point to take the lead which could be appealing since they did miss earlier, but I would much rather be up 5 than risk being up by 4.

David Bailey Comp
Anyone think that david bailey game reminded them of trey hendrickson? I think prime Trey Hendrickson was similar to that but maybe a tad bit faster, but obviously less pursuit/strength/effort in the run game.

This Is Why I’m Still Happy To Be A Jets Fan
Been a lifelong fan, and a lot of people I know no longer understand why. In particular, my dad was a lifelong fan too, but finally gave up this year. My girlfriend, who doesn’t like football at all, also goes “if you’re gonna, why of all teams do you root for the Jets?”
But like I’m sure a lot of people here, I’m also a lifelong Yankees fan. That team has fucking standards to set, legacies to live up to. And at times like this, where the golden boys blow it so hard… well, if the Jets had lost, it woulda just been another week of “Same Old Jets”, and it wouldn’t have hurt as hard as the Yankees blowing it. But no, they came through, and that little victory just made my day, took the sting away. Where the good guys fell, the underdogs succeeded. And they may blow it again next week, but at least with this team I can be happy with what victories I get.
All I can really say is what I’ve been saying for so many years: J-E-T-S, JETS JETS JETS!

These jets YouTubers are something else!
I don’t think they are really fans! They rather the jets lose for content! Last week they were going on about how the Browns have turned it around and they are a good team now! Soon as we beat them, now they suck! Bailey was a bust last week! Now he’s had multiple sacks this week! You have to let rookies develop!

[Rapoport] OT Will Campbell, whose day was cut short today with injury, is believed to have suffered a knee sprain, sources say, and he’ll have an MRI tomorrow to confirm. This will likely cause him to miss some time.
